The cooling fan of my HP Pavilion DV6 laptop, bought in 2012, has stopped working. A service centre has determined that the fan is beyond repair and proceeded to replace it with an OEM product. However it did not work. I have taken back my laptop and just called your contact centre for help.
Your centre agent told me that HP has stopped manufacturing this part because it is old. She told me to go to any service centre to get the fan replaced. I explained to her that I just got back my laptop from one such service centre which could not help me. Upon my further request for assistance, she said she cannot help me.
This is disappointing. I can understand that HP does not stock this old cooling fan any more but surely you can offer me a better solution than just telling me to hunt for a service/repair centre myself.
I would like to express my dissatisfaction of online purchase experience which i’ve never experience before.
I have made an online purchase on 8th December 2016 and today is already 17th Jan 2017 and still haven’t received my products. I was I’m form by the the system that I have to wait another month which the delivery will be full filled only on the 16th Feb 2017.
” Can you imagine that you are buying a products which took you more than to months and still unable to deliver.” The delivery date keep changing from 2 weeks to months.
Do you think HP products need to takes months to build , and they told me that they didn’t have the components to assemble the 2 in1 PC and it’s ridiculous to me. Because if a factory needs 2 months or more to manufacture a component which is needed to make a 2 in1 pc, I think the factory should be shut down immedieatly because something very wrong is happening.
Can someone from HP sales let me know what is going on?

I have a HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3630 where the wireless and Internet connection is not connected. I already uninstall and re install back the app using the HP CD. But it still fail. Kindly please send your staff to come to my house to check on the the printer which I just bought this year.

First of all, let us have some brief about the problem.
At the beginning, on 24th of April I contacted them to ask for help since I have the problem and they said they will send somebody to me. I waited till 12th of May and I contacted them when nobody came, and they promise to send someone. even though, it took time to send someone to solve my problem and he already did onsite diagnoses about the problem and he asked me to pass my notebook to him but I told him I’m a researcher and can’t stay without any computer and I told him to give me another laptop while my laptop in the service. He said he can’t and promised to solve the problem within some days.
Later on, and after long time, someone called me and told me that “your case took long time and we need to close this case and they can open another one for they”, but I totally rejected that and I told him that I don’t agree to close my case unless it got solved. Then someone called me and agreed about the suitable time to come and solve the problem. Unfortunately, He didn’t come and I waited for him for 4 hours. Then, he decided to call me two days after and said he want to come and he didn’t even apology about the previous mistake. I said ok, let me solve the problem since it effect my job and make a lot of terrible. When he came, and after he did another diagnoses and many calls, he said sorry can’t solve this problem and it’s new for us and we have to pass it to another department or level and promised me that my problem will get solved within a maximum two days.
I waited for weeks and nobody even called me to update me or at least to apology. I decided then to contact them again on 7th of July to inquire about my case number “3027762637” and unfortunately it was closed. After discussion with their team they decided to change their opinion and said it is still open. Based on their record, they said that somebody came to my house and already changed the fan and they were lying to me. I can’t imagine that, with all this bad services, they decided finally to lie rather than apology and take the right action. I can understand if any shop near me did it, although they didn’t, but I can’t understand that HP is the one who did that.
Accordingly, and based on the aforementioned brief and the basic service agreement and also the ISO and ISC policy as I think, I decided to ask them for their HQ manager’s contact to complain and discuss with him/her all this matter as well as the compensation, and for more than one month I can’t get that and all of they still rejected my request while I think it is my right and it is even a simple request if they care.
At the end, I can say that:
– They came and made problem diagnosis,
– Delay of solving the problem has been taken after that,
– When my case reach the maximum time, they called me to close it and open another one and they were dealing with me as children who can’t notice or understand,
– By the time, they decided to lie to me rather than make the correct actions,
– They decided to waste my time and they think that I’ll simply discard this matter,
– When I asked for they HQ manager’s contact they rejected to give me that, and they decided to ask for basic information after around three months and I can ask simply: what their engineers were doing if they don’t have the basic information right now?
– They came and collect the information after that.
– After that, they said you need to update the drivers and I said OK.
– Later, they asked me to submit my notebook and they will replace it while they are change some parts. I asked them to replace the same one but they rejected and said “we will the engineer to your home to replace the parts” and we agreed about that.
– At the end, they send the same person who came before to collect the information again and after four months and until today they didn’t solve my problem.
Simply, this problem cost me a lot of time and money and it negatively effect my work in university, and they are dealing with their customers as a children who don’t understand and they are trying to waste the time until the warrantee expired or maybe the customer find another way.
DON’T BUY AND TRUST HP… EVER
Dear Sir
May I know HP policy on Warranty of the Toner. How long is the warranty period of the toner after the manufacturing date stated on the packaging.
Some Reseller claimed, its claimable for 5 years started from manufacturing date.
For example, if the dated on the packaging is Jun 2014, when it will expired or out of warranty by HP?.
Need your feedback urgently as I am a purchasing officer for my organization. I need to avoid accepting expired/no warranty toner from Reseller,

I had just received a laptop with Model HP Pavilion15-ac128Tx on 3 Nov 2015. The laptop was installed with WIndows 10.
I had noticed that the laptop can’t detect the Wifi but do detect the line tethered from my handphone.
What is the best way to solve this problem?
my laptop model number is hp pavilion dv4-3106tx i recently bought it and i used to have some problems with recovery and i formatted it by mistake and lost its drivers. I downloaded it from net and i installed my drivers but of no use so can u send me recovery cds.
