Being a 7-Eleven subsidiary at heart, Speedway’s journey into the retail industry started off as a small gas station chain in Ohio, United States. Due to its rapid expansion during the 1980s and 1990s, the company began acquiring multiple convenience stores, which also allowed it to integrate the sale of groceries, snacks, drinks, and other convenience goods into its repertoire. And over time, Speedway stores also started having coffee shops, restaurants, and ATMs, ultimately mirroring the user experience of a supermall.

Today, Speedway is one of the largest convenience store chains in the country, boasting a network of more than 3,900 stores across 32 states. It is also a significant corporate taxpayer, paying more than $1 billion in taxes to local and state governments every year. The company’s commitment to its customers can also be showcased through its robust loyalty program, known as Speedy Rewards. With Speedy Rewards, members can now earn points with every purchase, which can then be redeemed for free prizes or other benefits. However, there are moments when a certain transaction or purchase may fail to get registered to your account, leading you to miss out on valuable reward points. And if that is the case, then you can easily claim them back by following our extensive guide.

What are the Steps to Claim Online

According to Speedway, points on your Speedy Rewards account will show up immediately after you have made a qualifying transaction at a Speedway retail store. However, keep in mind that you have to identify yourself as a Speedy Rewards member either through the official Speedway mobile app or via your alternate ID (alternate mobile number) to get your reward points. And if you have an existing physical Speedy Rewards card, then you can use that as well. Also, remember that you can check your points balance via the mobile app, online, or via the receipt you will receive after completing your transaction.

If you have followed all of the above-mentioned rules and regulations and still have not received the reward points that you were deemed to receive, then you can raise a claim by following the below-mentioned steps.

  1. Kick-start your journey by visiting the official Speedway Contact Us website here.
  2. On the landing page, you will be presented with an online form that you need to complete.
  3. First, provide your name and email address. Then choose “Speedy Rewards” as the topic and state the problem or issue you are facing.
  4. Once done, you can state your phone number (optional), your Speedy Rewards Card number (optional), and your residential address (optional).
  5. After that, click on “Submit,” and your report will be successfully registered on the company’s online portal. Now, all you have to do is wait for a follow-up email from Speedway’s customer support.

How to Contact Customer Support

If you would like to explore alternate options for contacting Speedway customer care, then you can do so by getting in touch with them via phone at 1-800-643-1948 (general queries) or 1-800-428-4016 (credit card queries).

The general phone line support is available from Monday to Friday between 7 AM and 8 PM EST and from Saturday to Sunday between 8 AM and 5 PM EST. On the other hand, credit card phone line support is available between Monday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.

Overview of the Program

Speedy Rewards is a members-only loyalty program. With Speedy Rewards, every time you make a purchase at any Speedway store (excluding restricted items), you will earn points. The accumulated reward points can then be redeemed for free merchandise, gasoline, or discount coupons, leading to more valuable savings.

Earning reward points with Speedy Rewards is easy – all you have to do is scan your digital Speedy Rewards card (via the official app either on Android or iOS) or use your alternate ID – when making the transaction at the store or at the fuel pump. After that, you can instantly review the points that you have earned and even proceed to redeem them as well. Some examples of ineligible purchases where you will not earn any reward points are: purchases of money orders, in-store restaurant items, milk, Speedy Cash prepaid cards, Vanilla Visa, NetSpend, PayPal, or Green Dot reloadable items.

Currently, Speedway offers 20 base points per dollar you spend on merchandise and 10 base points per gallon of fuel that you purchase. Additionally, you can also earn bonus points every month, in addition to the base points that you receive with your purchase. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can redeem them either via the Speedway mobile app or at a Speedway store directly. Redemption of points is crucial because your base and bonus points will expire after nine months of inactivity.

In addition to the above-mentioned advantages, Speedy Rewards has also introduced a club membership plan where, with every purchase of your favorite items, you will receive a free product, bonus points, or discounts. For instance, if you are a member of the “Breakfast Taco Club,” then you will receive a free breakfast taco when you purchase six breakfast tacos from Laredo Taco. Lastly, members also have the chance to enter sweepstakes (hosted by Speed Rewards) every month, which include prizes such as free Amazon and Speedy gift cards.
