The topic of mental health has become more relevant than ever before, thanks to social media and the onset of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Positive mental health is solely responsible for driving our actions, thoughts, and interactions while also empowering us to navigate challenges and make proper decisions. As a result, you will be able to enjoy enhanced productivity and happiness.

When Headspace was founded in 2010, little did the founders know that meditation and mindfulness exercises would become potent tools for 21st-century citizens. The mission was to make meditation more accessible and less intimidating for the average person. Such a stellar concept made Headspace quite popular within a short period, and by 2012, the company had launched its first mobile app.

Today, Headspace is one of the most popular meditation apps across the globe, featuring more than 50 million lifetime downloads while also helping millions of consumers learn how to meditate effectively and live their lives peacefully. Over time, the company has also expanded its offerings beyond meditation, such as offering sleep, focus, and stress relief programmes. Additionally, it has also partnered with the WHO (World Health Organisation) to promote meditation and mindfulness among the masses.

Having said that, if you are currently a student and you deeply care about your mental health, then subscribing to the Headspace Student Plan and utilising all its essential meditation and mindfulness practices can prove to be immensely helpful in ensuring a productive, studious life. How Students Can Save on Subscription

Before you decide to opt for the Headspace Student Plan, keep in mind that the offer is currently available only for students who are located within the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, France, Canada, India, and Germany. Students who are applying for this plan must be attending a post-secondary or university course and be aged 18 years or older. Additionally, the plan price for the student subscription is available for both part-time and full-time students.

It should be known that when you sign up for the Headspace Student Plan, you have to enroll yourself in the annual plan, which costs $9.99. At the end of one year, you will receive a notification to re-verify your student ID and subscribe again for the reduced price of an annual subscription. However, it is found that after one year you have graduated, your student plan will automatically be shifted to a one-year alumni subscription plan at 40 per cent off from the regular membership price. When the alumni plan expires, you will be automatically enrolled in the standard Headspace subscription plan.

Headspace also states that if you are not able to verify your student status instantly when registering for the student plan, then you have to manually upload any of the below-mentioned documents: the official enrollment letter from your academic institution (acceptance letters will not be accepted); the class schedule for the current academic term; the tuition or registration receipt; the transcript that shows that your academic classes are in progress; or any other school-issued documents that showcase your full name and issue date (which can be for the current term or within the last three months).

Lastly, any of the above-mentioned documents that may be presented for verification must contain your full name, university name, and the issue date (either for the current term or within the last three months). With the crucial terms and conditions out of the way, let us go through the steps that you need to follow to subscribe to your Headspace Student Plan efficiently.
