Learn How to Book Parking Online
At the time of this writing, parking tickets can only be purchased via ParkWhiz. To start the booking process, follow the recommended steps provided below.
- First, you need to head over to the official website of ParkWhiz here.
- On the landing page, look for the event that you are planning to visit.
- Once you have found your preferred event, click on it and the online portal will provide you with different options to book your parking slot. The price for each parking space will depend on the respective parking garage.
- Proceed to click on ‘Book Now’ and you will be redirected to a new web page where you need to enter your arrival and departure dates and timings for the parking facility that you will be obtaining.
- After that, you need to enter your name, email address, phone number, and payment method. Payment methods include debit or credit cards, and PayPal.
- Once you have completed your purchase, your prepaid parking booking ticket will be mailed to your provided email address.
Please note that parking at the Hollywood Bowl is limited and thus may sell out in advance. Parking lots usually open three hours before the start of each event and if on-site parking remains available, then booking can be made on-site via cash, or debit/credit cards. It is suggested that you arrive at the bowl at least one hour before the start of an event so that you can have enough time to park your vehicle seamlessly.
Lastly, the authorities recommend not to drive to the Hollywood Bowl if you do not find a parking space. If the parking space is sold out, then you can consider using the Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle service, courtesy of the Hollywood Bowl.
What are the Available Parking Options
As of the present day, the Hollywood Bowl has four parking lots, namely – LOT A (Blue), LOT B (Yellow), LOT C (Red), and LOT D (Green). The parking prices for each parking lot will depend on whether the event is being held by the LA PHIL organization or simply a lease event carried out by a third party.
For instance, for LA PHIL-presented events, parking prices start at $20, while for lease events the price starts at $26 along with an additional $2.50 service charge. It should be known that only LOT B accepts parking of buses and limousines, starting at $55. On the other hand, only LOT B and LOT D accept motorcycle parking, starting at $10. Also, visitors looking for accessible parking should be aware that spaces are limited and will often sell out in advance.
Additionally, if you are a donator or a member of the LA PHIL community, then you can take advantage of the ‘Donor Valet Parking’ scheme, where valuable owners of the LA PHIL and the Hollywood Bowl are provided with free of-cost valet parking service (with the parking space fee charged separately). Is There a Cancellation Policy?
According to ParkWhiz, the official parking partner for the Hollywood Bowl, parking booking cancellations can be done for free until the start time, except as mentioned otherwise on your parking ticket. If your parking ticket is not eligible for cancellation, then a message stating ‘No Cancellation’ will be showcased.
Cancellations can be done either online (via the website) or through the ParkWhiz official app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. If you are unable to bag a parking space for your vehicle at the Hollywood Bowl parking facilities, then you can turn your head towards third-party parking spaces via Just Park and Parkopedia.
