It reminds you of Orlando’s fascinating Sea World! An exhilarating experience watching your favorite and most adorable sea creatures interacting with their human trainers — starring dolphins and seals in Dubai’s Dolphinarium.

These endearing sea organisms playfully flip balls with their fins and, as if acting on their whims, suddenly turn away from their trainer-friends when they are not in the mood to show off their skills. The back flips and iconic dance moves come effortlessly soon after in quick succession. Zooming, whirling, leaping in the air — they fill you with delight and amusement.

Know the Highlights

Diving, scooping, and flitting in and out of the clear blue waters, the dolphins listen obediently to and act on the trainer’s cues, gleefully waiting for the pat on their backs — you wonder aloud if they are anyway deficient in intelligence to their human counterparts? Certainly not.

They love to get their prize at the end of their feat, like a reward that makes them do more to entertain the guests gathered in the arena. They do the hoola-hoop beautifully and compete with each other (like humans do) to be the first to reach their trainer who throws away a couple of rings more in the waters for them to balance around their snouts — careful not to miss a beat.

They skittishly throw the large transparent balls at the sitting audience, expecting them to play a ‘catch-n-catch’, and splashing some cool waters at them to get them into action. The children and the adults are more than happy to oblige these charming creatures. But the real show-stealer is watching the dancer/singer/artist and the gymnast in them at play. Did you ever believe that dolphins can give you a run for the money with their artistry? Yes, they certainly can! They can even put the best gymnast in the world to shame! It’s a feast to watch the trainers balance themselves on their snouts and glide smoothly through the waters.

And yes, they can clap as vociferously for themselves as you would for them! Seriously. Catch the action alive at Dubai’s Dolphinarium. The seals serenade the young ladies in the crowd — kissing them in the cheeks and gifting them the red rose. Totally adorable!

It’s an absolute delight to watch the dolphins and seals in action at Dubai’s Dolphinarium! The jumbovision never lets you miss the action even if you have managed to grab the last seat in the audience. The Dolphinarium is spread across a 54,000 square feet area and was first opened to the public in May of 2008 in Dubai.

They have this part during the show when the children in the arena are distributed numbered balls to throw into the water pool. The trainer announces the number on the mic when the dolphin picks the ball/s and takes them to him. Children get a chance to click a picture with the dolphin if it had picked their numbered ball. And yes you can get a lifetime opportunity to swim with these lovable creatures in the waters under expert supervision — can you imagine the fun already? In the end, everybody in the audience gets a chance to click their pictures and selfies with the star of the show — dolphins!

There are food counters to serve you piping hot, yummilicious food delicacies that you may carry inside (as you would inside a movie theater) the arena and gorge on while you enjoy the show. They have food stalls inside the arena too.
