Before you decide to reserve your parking slot at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, keep in mind that for most shows, the parking price or cost is included in the price of your ticket. As a result, no additional charges will be required to park your vehicle at the venue on the day of an event or performance.

However, if the parking fee is not included in your cost of tickets for the event you are attending, then you can book your space on a first-come, first-serve basis. To do that, follow the steps mentioned below closely.

  1. Start your journey by heading over to the ‘Red Rocks Park,’ where you will be parking your vehicle. The park is located within walking distance of the Red Rocks Amphitheater.
  2. Choose the parking lot where you want to park your vehicle. There are five parking lots inside the Red Rocks Park. Or you can allow the posted traffic control officer to help you out.
  3. Proceed to pay the requisite fees for parking.
  4. Once done, park your vehicle safely and head over to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre for your booked event or show.

What are the Available Parking Options

The Red Rocks Amphitheatre utilizes the Red Rocks Park for offering its vehicle parking facilities. The Red Rocks Park and Trails open one hour before sunrise and close one hour after sunset. And on the day of an event or show, parking lots at the Red Rocks Park open two hours before the event kicks off.

It is recommended to arrive early, so that you can avoid traffic and have enough time to park your vehicle and get to the venue. The traffic control officer posted at Red Rocks Park will be able to guide you to a parking space once you enter the area. Also, vehicles parked improperly or left overnight (not relocated before 10 AM the following day) may be towed or ticketed.

There are five parking lots inside Red Rocks Park, namely – Upper North Lot, Upper South Lot, Lower North Lot, Lower South Lot 1, and Lower South Lot 2. Depending on where you are directed to park by the traffic control officer, you may have to walk a little. So, it is essential that you wear comfortable walking shoes since routes from the parking lots to the gates can partially be covered in dirt, can be uphill, or sometimes be lengthy in terms of distance measured. And based on your time of arrival, overflow parking will be directed to the ‘Jurassic Lot,’ which is located approximately one mile from the South Gate.

Talking about oversized vehicles – any vehicle that is 6 feet 5 inches wide (both front and back) will be considered an oversized vehicle. Currently, oversized vehicles include all RVs, party bus limos, buses, or any vehicle with an attached trailer. Also, oversized vehicles cannot be left overnight and must be parked in Lower South Lot 2. And lastly, accessible parking facilities can be found in the Upper South Lot.
