3 Things to Do When You Do Not Receive Order

There may be several situations, however, when you do not receive your order from Vinted within the expected timeframe. Weather conditions, holidays, or high demand may delay shipping, in which case your package may take longer to arrive. It may also take some time for the package to be processed by the shipping carrier.

Again, your package may be delayed or returned to the sender if you have provided an incorrect or incomplete shipping address. Packages may, unfortunately, also get lost or damaged in transit. Customs clearance will also delay the delivery if you have ordered from a seller in a different country.

Regardless of the reason for the delay, if you suspect that the delivery date and time of your package from Vinted are well past the expected timeframe, you can choose to do the following.

1) Track Status of Order

To track the order status at Vinted, you need to visit the Vinted website and open your account, navigate to the โ€œPurchasesโ€ section, and select the order in question. The shipping status will be displayed there. If the status indicates that the item has been shipped, but you have not received it within the expected timeframe, contact the seller. You can do this by clicking on the โ€œContact Sellerโ€ link in the โ€œPurchasesโ€ section of your Vinted account. Ask the seller about the status of the shipment and provide them with any relevant information that may help locate the package.

2) Send Email to Support@vinted.com

If you are unable to resolve the issue with the seller or if the seller is unresponsive, contact Vinted customer support for assistance. You can do this by clicking on โ€œHelp Centerโ€ on your Vinted account, located at the bottom of the Vinted homepage. Select the topic that best relates to your issue and get immediate help. If your question is not answered, proceed to click โ€œContact Support.โ€

Choose the contact method that best suits your needs. Vinted offers several options, including email (support@vinted.com) and live chat. You can also submit a request form. Provide Vinted customer support with your order details and any relevant information about the issue.

Please note that Vinted is not offering phone support at this time. You can, however, also reach out to its support team via social media channels, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

3) Approach the Consumer Court

If you have not received your order from Vinted and have exhausted all other options for resolution, you may consider approaching the consumer court as a last resort. The court is a legal forum where consumers can file complaints against sellers or service providers for unfair or deficient service.

You must begin by collecting enough evidence that you have related to the transaction, including receipts, invoices, screenshots of conversations with the seller, and photographs of the item. Next, prepare a written complaint that outlines the details of the transaction, the issues you have encountered, and any attempts you have made to resolve the issue with the seller. Then file the complaint with the appropriate consumer court in your jurisdiction. The process for filing a complaint may vary depending on your location. We suggest you consult with a legal professional or government authority for specific guidance.

Attend any hearings scheduled by the consumer court and present your case. You may be required to provide additional evidence or documentation to support your complaint. Once the court has reviewed your complaint, it will pronounce a decision that will be legally binding on both parties.

It is important to note that filing a complaint with the consumer court can be a lengthy and complex process, so it should be considered a last resort after all other options have been exhausted.
