I am looking to cancel a flight I booked with Travelocity booking site. the website is not working, I can’t cancel my flight, I called the customer service number, it refers me back to the website, which is not working. My flight is within 7 days but your automatic answering states they cannot help me nor connect me to a live person because my flight is not within the 7 day period. My flight is scheduled for 3/23/20, today is 3/19/20. You listed a different customer service number on the web, 888-872-8356, but it is disconnected. I understand your current situation but I still need access, whether to a live person or online.
Cancelling a flight with Travelocity and trying to get your money refunded is a nightmare even though I purchased the cancellation insurance. My husband is on dialysis and we never know when a new medical condition might arise. He is also a retired veteran so he has numerous other health issues as a result of serving in the military. Will never use Travelocity again!
The worst flight ever!!
On September 24th – 2015 I booked (via Travelocity) a trip with Delta for a party of 4 which turned out to be a nightmare!
• Delta GPR9BR Travelocity Itinerary #121600541278
Summary:
– At the time of booking I was unable to purchase the ticket for the infant who was travelling with the 3 adults because the cost Travelocity would add was that of a regular adult ticket. I therefore only booked the three adults and later attempted to solve the problem myself:
– By adding the infant on lap on Delta’s web site; which turned out to be possible ONLY on the AMS-ATL part of the trip but none NOT Available for the other flights!
– I then contacted both Travelocity and Delta multiple times
– via e-mail—such e-mails remain unanswered as of today!!
and
– Via paid international phone calls where I received contradictory information, no information, and was cut-off multiple times!
– I thus resolved to personally go to my departure airport (VCE) where I was directed to the Air France window; here I was able to book and pay for the infant BUT I was charged more than 10% of the ticket’s cost because – the employee explained – to get that price I should have purchased the infant’s ticket together with the others! She further assured me that all was set for the infant and gave me the payment’s receipt along with a print out of the booking where ‘+ infant’ was printed next to Mauro’s name; she told me to bring such print out when checking in.
On the morning of departure (at 5:00AM) at the check-in counter we were told that the infant was not ‘in the system’ and that they were unable to print the boarding passes for us. After standing at the counter for an hour, we finally obtained boarding passes but ONLY for the first leg of the trip.
Without going into further time consuming and very annoying details, we had to endure the same issue once in Amsterdam and barely made our connection in time, running with our infant!
Regardless of our insistence to make sure that our return trip would be rectified ….as if all that had happened had not been enough . . . guess what… we had to bear the same issues on our return trip!!
Our vacation was ruined and this was beyond any doubt the worst flight experience I have ever had!
I am a frequent traveler and seriously doubt I will ever use Delta (though I have accumulated miles) nor the Travelocity site again nor will I advise anyone I know to do so!
To whom it may concern.
I have an urgent matter to be resolved. Please have the heart to assist me, no one seems to want to help me, please. My Trip ID is: 313268731946
I received an confirmation email from you stated my travel details, e-ticket numbers and the email said that 1236.60 USD has been charged to my credit card. The day after that received numerous emails stating that my reservation has been cancelled and you are unable to ticket reservation. The follow-up email from you confirmed that reservation was cancelled because the funds could not be charged to my credit card.(incident 11123001438). 1236.60 USD has been deducted from my credit card and there is no trace of my booking or reservation. There is no answer on my emails. It is impossible to contact customer services. Travelocity is in receipt of my funds illegally. How can we resolve this matter, please pay back my money!
