My wife and I attended the Fleetwood Mac concert on the 16 June 2019 and have complained about the terrible sound quality from our seats it was worse than a school fate. We have had no feedback from anyone at Wembley stadium it’s bad enough enduring the disappointment of the night and now find our complaint has been ignored. Please contact with an explanation !
Sat writing complaints wherever possible having spent a lot money on tickets for Fleetwood Mac concert 16 June and the sound quality is absolutely rubbish, echoing around the stadium so you can’t actually appreciate the music for a supposed night to remember and frankly it’s a night to forget and regret wasting a lot of money.
We came to the capital ball on Saturday, we had a great time however, I would like to say how shocked I am the there are no sanitary machines in the girls toilet, you are hosting events with mix audiences, and young girls or women should not have to go to the medical centre for these products ,like I was told to, its 2019 come on Wembley sort this out it’s like going back to the dark ages .
Extremely unimpressed with the service we received at the Summertime Ball on June 9th 2018.
I have huge health and safety concerns due to the lax attitudes displaced by the staff.
Firstly, upon the security check after coming through the turnstiles into the stadium, the woman checking my handbag said that she ‘couldn’t be bothered with it today’ and that I could keep my deodorant as long as I didn’t ‘do anything stupid with it’. Though I appreciate on this occasion I ‘didn’t do anything stupid’, health and safety regulations are there for a reason and if breaches are overlooked because staff can’t be bothered, this is when dangers can occur.
Moreover, the staff directing us to our seats placed us in two other seats sets that were not our own for which we had to be moved when the actual ticket holders arrived. When I complained and asked for our actual seats the staff member wanted my group to separate into 2 separate seating areas. I refused at this point as our party had young members in. Only then did another member of staff come over and remind his colleague that we are entitled to the seats we purchased. He then had to move another group from our seats, who also told us they had been moved 3 times previous to this.
This is simply not acceptable as it meant that we missed the first half an hour of the show.
I will not be returning.
Incident of assault, violence and extensive lack of respectt carried out by Wembley staff on innocent Tottenham Hotspur ticket holder/ match attendee.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have previously filed a complaint via Tottenham Hotspurs who were in shock at how two of their fans (my father and myself) had been treated on January 4th, 2018 during an incident in the minutes running up to and first half of the football match versus West Ham. We are yet to hear an adequate and appropriate response from Wembley Stadium’s management.
My father had been denied entry to the stadium and assaulted by the Wembley staff outside entrance K following pointing out how rudely the staff had treated my father and I after my membership card hadn’t functioned at the entrance.
Upon showing our tickets, as well as club membership cards, and my card not working for some reason, we had also explained to the staff (prior to the assault) how my father had flown over specially from Germany for his 60th birthday (which was the following day). We did so without the use of rude, offensive or condescending language towards the Wembley stewards and no signs of aggression. Furthermore, neither of us were intoxicated at the time, nor have we ever been involved in antisocial behaviour.
Some further fans, as well as a Spurs staff member came over to us in shock at the highly disrespectful and aggressive manner in which the staff had treated us, mentioning they had witnessed my dad (who has an artificial hip and has had reconstructive surgery on his knee by the way) was thrown to the ground, resulting in severe pain for over a week.
I have staff numbers and photos of the ‘stewards’ guilty of abuse.
The Spurs staff ever so kindly came to help & comfort us following the sight of the outburst of violence, assisting us in getting different tickets and letting us in another entrance. We are utterly disgusted at the Wembley staff who had treated us this way, however, it was nice that Tottenham Hotspur’s stewards were very helpful and sympathetic.
Some fellow fans witnessed the sight and comforted us, stating their outrage of the violence of the Wembley staff.
As a stadium hosting any form of event, whether this is music, sport or other forms of entertainment, the key responsibility and highest priority of the stewards is to ensure the safety and well-being of the visitors, which is the opposite of the acts of physical and oral abuse on visitors.
I have written a longer report regarding this incident which I will be bringing both to the police, as well as the press if we receive no compensation for the events, here is a short abstract to give you a taste of the occurrence:
“Staff member number RT135 (please find a photo in attached images):
It is possible his name is Chris Peterson, but he may have made this up. After my father had been assaulted and he continued to shout rude and aggressive comments at my father, he went up to my dad saying ‘What’s your name?’, my father responding: ‘Edward Walker’, him shouting ‘Mine is Chris Peterson, what’you gonna do about it?’ – again, rather hooligan-esque. This was the main man (as far as I can recall, it happened so quickly) who pushed my dad (who has an artificial hip and has had intensive reconstructive surgery on his knee from which he still has a rather obvious limp) to the ground. I said aloud how he had pushed him, his response: “Oh, come one, he just tripped!’ – which was not true. By the way, NONE of the staff offered to pick my father up who was struggling to get up for a few seconds.”
We missed 35 minutes of the match, for which my father had paid considerable money to fly over from Germany, where he resides.
I would like to point out this is not an attack at all Wembley staff – we have witnessed some very kind staff in our time. One member of staff at entrance K in particular stood out to out to me as being incredibly friendly and polite was a young (possibly only 18-22) black male who checked my bag when I entered the second time – seconds before my father was denied entry. He could tell I was very upset and distressed over how we had been treated and said ‘I really hope you enjoy the game with your dad’ and his general attitude was uplifting. If you ask me, it should be him managing that area as he knew not to treat us like hooligans.
Football matches are about about bringing people together in an enjoyable manner.
My father has been a Tottenham Hotspur supporter for over 50 years and upon having visited hundreds of football matches at White Hart Lane, he had never ever witnessed this type of behaviour.
After this incident, we are no longer keen to visit Wembley Stadium for any event ever again as we were made to feel extremely unsafe and disrespected.
This event took place four months ago and I still find it hard to get out of my head, as does my father. It is upsetting for us that he was assaulted at a match he flew over specially for, the night before his 60th birthday. I still wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it, that is how bad the scenes were.
Could the stadium’s management perhaps be humane and understanding and please take a look at this case and provide some compensation for the incident.
Please feel free to contact me regarding a more extensive report, as well as all details. I have photos and staff numbers I can share.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Rosa
Came to summertime ball last night, what a great time we had, must say a what a great job everyone had done from setting it all up during and the clean up after, it was the first time my little ones have been to any sort of music concert, we had problems to start with as we had golden circle tickets, but the information office done a great job of sorting our tickets out and the girls had a great time so a big thank you xx
I would like to make an official complaint regarding the league 1 play off final between Millwall and Bradford city held on 20/05/2017.
The way Millwall conducted themselves was a disgrace, why were they allowed to invade the pitch and then come over to the west stand where the Bradford city fans were applauding their players? Surely they should have been contained better and as soon as they invaded the pitch the stewards and police should have formed a barrier at the halfway line. I know a lot of friends that didn’t attend the game due to the way Millwall act and the way the F.A seem to make excuses and look away at their constant bad behaviour. It was the same outside, bad segregation leading to Millwall once again attacking opposing fans. Something must be done as Millwall are constantly putting the game of football into disrepute without the club or their ‘fans’ suffering any consequence.
Good Afternoon
I was at Wembley stadium yesterday, Sunday 14th May, and have lost my car keys. I was seated in block 109, row 40, seat 189.
It is one cluster of various keys including a Ford Focus ignition key and a Peugeot 206 ignition key with the unlock button missing.
Have you had anything handed in?
Please forward this query to the correct department.
Many Thanks
Jon Warren
