Tickets for a journey can be reserved online on the Virgin Trains website. You can locate your seat here. Tickets can be booked using major credit or debit cards. You can print your ticket at the Fast Ticket machines located at most stations. You need to have your card and ticket collection reference to collect your ticket. If your train is delayed for 30 minutes or more, you are eligble to claim a full refund. You can make a claim on the link here.

The fare types found include Advance, Anytime, Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak and Season tickets. The Advance tickets offer discounted fares and must be booked up to 12 weeks in advance. It is non-refundable. The Anytime fare allows passengers to climb any train, any time. It is a fully refundable fare. As for Season tickets, one can get unlimited travel in both directions. There is Seven Day Season Ticket, One Month Season Ticket and One-Month-Plus Season Ticket.
