Vienna U-Bahn (metro) customer serviceVienna U-Bahn is one of the two rapid transit systems in Austria. Opened in the year 1976, the transit is operated by Wiener Linien, which is responsible for 140 underground, tram and bus lines. The services are used by over 2.5 million commuters each day.

With 5 lines, U-Bahn connects to more than 100 stations. The U-Bahn lines consist of U1 (Leopoldau โ€“ Reumannplatz), U2 (Karlsplatz โ€“ Seestadt), U3 (Ottakring โ€“ Simmering), U4 (Hรผtteldorf โ€“ Heiligenstadt) and U6 (Floridsdorf โ€“ Siebenhirten).
