The room prices are set dynamically according to the demand. Look for ‘saver rate’ rooms for economical rooms. The server rate rooms are non-refundable. As many are having staycations holidays I would like to book a week / fortnight in a travelodge but it works out very expensive because some days within the week/fortnight are very expensive pushing up the whole price. Surely if someone wants a long stay and not needing the room made up unlike overnights can it not be cheaper. There’s an opertunity to attract long staying customers considering within a given week the rooms may not get booked every day. Just a thought.
I stayed at your Travel lodge in Ramsgate 2 years ago, it was an excellent stay and had lifts to each floor, which due to being in a wheelchair, I had no problem accessing my room on a higher floor, I have a Carer so no need for disabled access room.
The problem I have now is, I have looked at two of your travel lodges in Llandudno, and also Colwyn Bay, neither mentions if the properties have lift access, I feel you need to mention this on any of your travel lodges, rather than someone turn up in a wheelchair, then find it has no lift in the building, and the Customer has to use stairs, which in my case is not possible.
This should be one of your main priorities about access for the elderly and also disabled people
So I was due to stay at one of your hotels in Newcastle on the 23rd of January 2022. I canceled the booking and a refund should have been processed. You have no free phone number to call you on to speak with and I’m sure this is an requirement set by the ombudsman. You also have no means of online chat as apparently every time I visit your page your chat bot is down. I don’t think it’s acceptable that you think you can hold people’s money ransom when I have clear emails to prove that you have canceled my room.
A lot of writing, pages and pages of information but, try and speak to someone is a waste of time. They advertise discounts but, when you try and book and claim, not available. A lot of advertisement but no substance.
Morning, just quick praise for Kettering, Thrapston, Travel Lodge, been with them for quite a number of weeks now, members of staff I have dealt with, Anne and John,” OUTSTANDING”, they should be both forward to employees of the month awards, if you have a scheme or rewards in place. Incentives and rewards boost morale and work ethics. As for Anne and John, they would run more than the extra mile for all quests.
I have been staying in travel lodges since January this year, on a weekly basis, at Chieveley, Thame, Thrapston, and Rushton. I have always received good service, as well as invoices and confirmation of bookings. except once. I contacted customer care to request an invoice to be Emailed to myself, as I spoke to a member of your team, he said this could not be done and said it would have to be done off of my phone, as he tried to explain how to do it, the advice was just putting me onto booking further dates, which I didn’t require, after approximitly15 minutes, he suddenly replied, “Look, you are wasting my time.” and abruptly hung up. not very professional I would say. About an hour later, guess what, an invoice came through, which I was told could not be done. Because of no proof of Emails, I have had to ring directly to the lodge I’m staying with for confirmation, as I didn’t want to turn up and find I have no reservation, even though money has been taken from my bank account.
You contacted me recently following my complaint about the cleanliness of the room at Warminster Travelodge. I was asked to register, which I did, before you could address my complaint. I registered last month and I am still waiting for someone to address my complaint. Should I raise another one? Very sloppy afterservice customer care I must say. Email me only please.
We have recently stayed at a trace lodge and were underwhelmed by the experience. We arrived at 12 md to be told that check in was 3 pm, this would have meant leaving our stuff in the car till 9.30 in the evening , but we could pay £10 and check in immediately, which we do, we did not get offered £10 back when we left at 6 in the morning.
The room was dark, lighting poor, no drawers , I bath towel, hand towel and no bath mat.
Because we didn’t want the room cleaned Coffee and tea were not replenished. Room was hot and stuffy overnight, opening the window was not an option as near railway station and busy road, no air conditioning.
No make up mirror, hairdryer had gone obtained from reception.
Bed was not comfortable and pillows were foam and added to he discomfort.
Door to our corridor that should have to be open with the keycard, just opened. Not secure.
I thought that rather than put this on TripAdvisor you may want to look into these issues as I am sure this is not your only hotel that has theses problem.
Sorry but we will not be using you again.
