I am tired of the crap with the Raptors after watching this trade deadline and being less amused .. I was a raptors fan since their inaugural season but now I’m getting out .. garbage garbage team now . Lose van Vleet for nothing in offseason and now prob Trent jr as well . Masai needs to go at the end of this year…
I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism and trashy comments. There is no place for that attitude in professional sports broadcasting. Or broadcasting period. It will be a black mark on your franchise every time you have him represent your team.
I have had to stop watching the Raptor games because the colour commentator for Raptor games that screeches at the top of his lungs throughout the entire game telecast. I think his name is Jack. It is ear wrenching to listen to
and unbearable. Once in a while I can tolerate but his screeching is 100x worse than hearing fingernails scraping down a blackboard.
Please consider replacing him or stymy the screeching.
I am very disappointed at the approach taken over the past two weeks – sitting healthy stars so that you donโt win is morally bankrupt… as a long time raptor fan I have to say I am totally turned off by managements approach to the end of this season.
Losing is contagious – we are teaching the younger players it is ok to lose.
Fans deserve the best product you can put on the floor – nothing less.
I am done with the raptors. Not buying tickets nor anything to do with them. Once they started posted the BLM. I’m done. I watch sports to get away from drama of the world. Dribble the ball, win another championship and focus on the sport. If i wanted an opinion outside of basketball, I would watch the news. You are a sports team, a release from the outside world. I’m surrounded by BLM on the web and news. Leave it there. Be a sports team and stop pandering.
I agree with Carl 100% but only now in 2021 the last straw was the NBA not reprimanding Lebron James for his comments recently. Toronto Raptors started the “ball” rolling in 2020 with BLM and player strikes, but now its out of control. I have stopped watching games this month and stopped considering buying new merchandise. Raptors are my team so they unfortunately pay the local price or fury. Please go back to playing games and the product on the court not the extra stuff and id like a suspension for Lebron James. Apply pressure to NBA to act otherwise it condones. I cant see any other regular player not getting punished for similar careless and divisive posts.
Congrats to all involved in training and playing so amazingly well to bring that trophy to Canada!! Just have to say that Kyle Lowry is a class act. He showed real empathy and compassion for K.D. when it was obvious that he was in so much pain with his Achilles. Not to mention the restraint he showed when he himself was treated badly by a Warriors supporter. He says he wants his kids to be able to look up to him as a human being, not just the outstanding athlete that he is. I’m sure they will. I love watching athletes that my grandchildren, as well, can see showing true sportsmanship.
I am writing to express that I am very disappointed to see that your finals tickets went on sale ahead of schedule.
I have a screenshot off ticketmaster.com that the tickets were going to go on sale at 6am on May 28. It is right now May 27, 10pm and the tickets are apparently sold out already.
I have been away from Canada for 10 years and yet have always been a loyal fan of the Raptors. I will fly in from Hong Kong on June 6 and was extremely excited to have a shot at purchasing tickets to Game 5. I understand it’s very unlikely, but is there any chance there is a reserve of tickets I could purchase from? I would only need 2 seats. It would be a dream come true to attend a game with my fiancee, who is from Hong Kong and has yet to experience a live NBA game.
Sincerely,
JN
I took my son to the Raptors game on April 8. We were in Section 318 because that was the ticket price I could afford. I was so disappointed in the difference in treatment between the 100 level and the 300 level. We were tossed a few t-shirts but the 100 level received many as well as parachutes falling with t-shirts. Even the two Harlem Globetrotters were throwing to 100 level. There were many families who probably were in the 300 level because they wanted their children to experience a Raptor’s game but the disappointment when we were not really included in the fun and giveaways. I think you may need to rethink the inclusion of all levels to avoid disappointment.
I sent this to the NBA after the disappointing officiating at yesterdays game. I am a very proud supporter to the Toronto Raptor’s and was disappointed by the unfairness that I witnessed.
Dear NBA,
When I was at the Raptors vs Oklahoma game yesterday (March 18, 2017 at the Air Canada Centre), in the last 2 minutes the refs were not calling fouls on the other team. They didnโt notice DeRozan getting smacked on a layup, or Siakam getting held back by a defender. It was like they were asleep. This was unfair to the Toronto Raptors and caused a lot of frustration to the players and the fans, who just want a fair game. When teams are putting in so much effort to try to win a game, the officials should be putting in just as much effort to make sure they are making fair and consistent calls across all NBA teams.
It seems like the league underestimates the Toronto Raptors and doesnโt give them the respect they give to other teams even though they are a great team. Is it because they are a Canadian team? If so, that is basically the same thing as discrimination against Canada. Could it be that the refs purposely wanted the Raptors to lose or had a bias towards the US team?
I understand that the refs make mistakes, but when the game is in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter, the refs need to do a much better job of making sure they are paying attention and being fair to ALL of the players.
Sincerely,
Neel, age 9
