Sadly, I just cancelled my subscription of MANY years to your print edition. Following years of excellent service (including dependable delivery in the past to my front porch at several different addresses), for over 2 months now I have had many missed deliveries with no explanation, erratic delivery times, delivery to various spots on the driveway and occasionally the mailbox but no longer to the garage door which my carrier had pleasantly agreed to, and sometimes delivery of the current day’s paper along with that of the previous day. Why would I want yesterday’s paper? I already read it online when the print version didn’t arrive. I’ve taken many “trips” to the Philippines where my complaints were managed by a robot-like person. Several times I was sent to Texas where a genuinely friendly person made real human contact – much appreciated – while I reported my ongoing delivery issues. I received a couple of friendly emails from a WSJ person, apologizing and saying there were ongoing delivery issues in my area. But I’ve never heard from a local representative who might have explained and given me hope for the future! I really enjoyed holding and reading the print version of your fine newspaper. But I have sadly given up and have resorted to reading it online only. I wonder what’s happened to the excellent customer service you used to provide.
I subscribe to The WSJ, but now I cannot read/view my favorite features unless I “subscribe” for $4/month. Why doesn’t my annual subscription allow me to read articles?
