About Stamford Bridge
For Chelsea fans out there, Stamford Bridge is like a second home. The football stadium in Fulham, London is packed on matchdays. When it was opened in 1877, it’s first tenant was the London Athletic Club. Since 1905, the stadium is home to the Chelsea Football Club. While currently, Stamford Bridge can seat up to 41,000, plans are underway for expansion to 60,000. The four stands consist of Shed End, West Stand, East Stand and Mathew Harding Stand. It regularly hosts FA cup matches and other sports such as cricket, rugby and American football. Also known as The Bridge, the stadium also witnesses music concerts by top artists. You can track the upcoming events on the website.

No tickets will be sold to supporters of away team on matchday. Members of Club Chelsea can enjoy a match with top amenities and exclusive benefits. There are club boxes and suites you can book for comfortable padded seats and full-course dining. You can approach the Hospitality team for queries on costs and membership packages. Joining other sporting arenas, Stamford Bridge as well has become a cashless stadium. Tickets, refreshments and merchandise can be purchased through only through cards and digital wallet.

Stamford Bridge is centrally located and can be easily accessed by tube (Fulham Broadway), bus or cab. On matchdays, it might be virtually impossible to find a parking space. Prior reservation will ensure you have a slot waiting on event days. Accessible car parking is available and needs advance booking as well. The stadium gates open two hours prior to kickoff on weekend matches. Large bags, video recording equipment, canned drinks, weapons and hazardous items are prohibited inside the stadium.

After the match, make a visit to the Stadium Megastore where you can purchase tshirts, jackets, sweatshirts, memorabilia and souvenirs. The store is open throughout the week, except on matchdays. Fans can book a stadium tour to get a behind the scenes experience where all action takes place. The tour will take you through the dressing room, press room, pitchside and even player’s tunnel. There is also a museum where you can see the club’s trophies and personal items belonging to Chelsea legends.
