A feedback on the lady bus driver, on the 13.00 fort William bus from Glasgow Buchannan bus station. On 20/3/23. We alighted at Luss, and returned from Luss on the 11.26 bus to Glasgow on 23/3/23. She was an absolute delight, very kind and approachable, nothing was too much bother..It was a great experience travelling on this route with Scottish city link.
After moving to Drumnadrochit 3yrs ago my children have had to use the bus service into Inverness . They have been stranded at the bus stop on numerous occasions due to drivers flying by the stop regardless that they were visibly at the stop and waving them down , this resulted in them having to call friends to come and take them into Inverness and them missing shifts at work or I myself had to take them in . This evening fri14/7/22 when I made a complaint to the driver he denied that my son was at the stop and even though there was two tourists inside the stop he didn’t .. When I challenged him all he did was point out there was 6 cameras on the bus and to make my complaint to the company . It’s no wonder people don’t use the service . I’m lucky enough to own a car but I pity any pensioner or young mother That has to rely on this service .
I travelled on your Gold Bus from Aberdeen to Glasgow on Friday. The boiler was broken so no teas or coffees until 10 mins before arrival in Glasgow so don’t know how that happened. Only shortbread was offered as had ‘ran out of stock’ – REALLY?? If you advertise a service you should adhere to it. This has happened on numerous occasions but I just haven’t reported it before. When paying a full priced ticket it is a bit annoying as I could have travelled in the mega bus cheaper and no ‘extras’
my friend stayed in Glasgow and travelled north myself on Sunday – bus had not air conditioning and had to stop at Dundee to add 30 bottles of water to the radiator. I think this was the hottest day in Scotland this year – the bus was like a greenhouse.
Definitely not a pleasant Gold Bus experience this weekend.
I get the 900 bus to Glasgow and Edinburgh to commute for work never had a problem in the past however tonight was different the bus was approaching the stop I wave my arm stating I wanted on the bus he couldn’t of been paying attention as he nearly missed me and had to suddenly stop.I get on the bus and say thank you for stopping and to my surprise he moaned at me in front of all the passengers stating I was to blame as I wasnt visible enough not good customer service and really puts you off not the type to complain but i was mortified in front of all those people don’t think blaming the passenger is appropriate as I couldn’t of been more visible unless I stood in front of the bus !
