I bought my Galaxy A3Core in November 2021. Recently, the Settings function started playing up. It would shut down immediately when I opened it. I took it into the Vodacom Store in Killarney Mall from where I had purchased the phone, and they sent me to Eastgate Mall Samsung. The staff there reset the phone to factory settings. It worked for 3 days. I then took the phone back to the Vodacom Store in Killarney Mall and asked for a new phone. They refused to give me one. They sent the phone to Samsung. It turned out that meant sending it back to Samsung in Eastgate Mall. The phone then had both a soft and a hard reset back to factory settings. It lasted 5 days. When I emailed Samsung in South Korea they said the issue was a software one and that there was new software that needed to be downloaded. Why doesn’t Vodacom or Samsung Eastgate know this? It took Samsung Eastgate 10 days to do the second ‘fix’. And it was the wrong fix. This is ridiculous! Does anybody at Samsung South Africa know what the software download for the worldwide Galaxy A3Core settings issue is?
