On Saturday July 30th, my 17 year old son went to the Rose Bowl to watch the Real Madrid vs. Juventus game. Due to the very unorganized mark rows we could not find the D row in our section. Where we were at, there were no rows indicating the row letters. I told my son, let’s go down and ask that gentleman near the field if he can help us. At this point, it was 20 minutes of us looking around and getting nowhere. The only staff members we finally saw, was down the stairs towards the field. As we are going down we see a Staff member “Event 6720 Staff 01” coming up the stairs. My son says “excuse me sir, can you please help us find our seats?” and shows him the ticket on his phone. I could not believe the rudeness of this man tell my son “what you don’t know your ABC’s… you can’t read ?! Look around and find it yourself”. I could not believe the unprofessionalism and rudeness I was hearing as he said this out loud, as if putting on a show for others to hear.
This is a belated comment about the Taylor Swift Concert 19 months ago. I drove a friend with end state ovarian cancer and her daughter to see their 7th and final concert together, from San Diego to the Rose Bowl. We had looked on line as to where to go for handicapped, wheel chair accommodations. The first lot we went to which was the one online, and was supposed to be it, was a no when we got there and were sent to the next lot to the left. They told us to go to the next one, which was supposed to be the uber/lyft / handicapped drop-off and we were told there was a shuttle. The woman at the gate told us no there was no such shuttle or drop off. At this point the daughter was in tears, and hysterical. Finally, only because I do not take no for an answer and we were obviously in peril, we ended up at the vip parking lot on the grass, I talked the nice young man at the gate into letting me drive up on the grass to drop her up by the sidewalk. At the point a shuttle/golf cart appeared and helped my friend Becky and her daughter. to get in and to their seats When I picked them up, the only accommodation was to pick her up amidst the uber/lyft drivers. I had to look for them and drag her though a crowd of thousands of people waiting for their rides saying ‘excuse me pardon me’, and then across the grassy area to my car, which was very bumpy and I can imagine uncomfortably painful. She passed away a week to the day later. I am writing this so that you can do a better job in accommodating people in this situation. The wheel chair guests should not be delegated to the uber/lyft parking lot.
Hi there! I purchased a parking pass for $40 and 2 shuttle passes for $10. I was told before I made my purchases I could park at 3:30pm and take a shuttle from the Rose Bowl to Old Town and then return to the Rose Bowl via the round trip shuttle pass. So, I was able to park, but I’m finding I cannot leave this general area of the Rose Bowl! Your customer service representative gave me incorrect information, and no one, and I mean no one has the correct information on how and where to get the shuttle. None of the parking attendants know anything about the venue or the area, and the only thing the police can tell me is Uber and Lyft are not allowed near the venue. Come on people! You can do better than this! It’ starts with you and your training of the people who work the customer service phone line, the event employees, and the police. If you people can’t train your personnel or shift workers better, what’s going to happen if there was a true emergency. It’s like the blind leading the blind around here. I’m now stuck in my car unable to get out of the venue to eat in Old Town until after the concert ends! So disappointing! Yes, I should’ve parked in Old Town and taken the shuttle to the venue, but your customer service rep should’ve recommended that and not misled me with inaccurate information!
I would like someone to contact me about a seating issue and parking issue I had during the Green Day Concert. First of all, when we tried to park, we notified the guy directing traffic that we were needing a handicapped space. He said just go with everyone else and you will be directed there. As we passed by the handicapped parking, I stopped and asked how to get over to the handicapped space, again I was told to continue on. After sitting in line for 45 minutes, we got to the general parking entrance and were told that we need to turn around and go back and that we should have been able to enter where we first asked.
Second, I purchased my tickets in February. I bought the real early so I can get decent seating. My wife cannot walk or use stairs for long periods of time. We go to our section and row and can’t find our seats(Section 18, Row A, seats 11&12). We were directed to another section(19). We go to that section and were told we were in the wrong section and that we needed to go back to section 18. So, we go back and are told that our seats do not exist. Now, MY DISABLED WIFE, has walked up and down the stairs a total of 5 times, once is good if she could sit and rest, twice is pushing it, she did this 5 times and was in excruciating pain. After, we were told our seats didn’t exist, we were directed back up the stairs for a 6th time to go talk to customer service. Through all this we were missing the opening act. Now, waiting in a long Customer service line, MY DISABLED WIFE standing in pain, we here the opening act going on and we’re are starting to miss the show. Finally, we get to the table and they tell us our seats were removed and that they have other seats for us. I see the seats are way higher up from our original seats with a worse view. The seat were also folding chairs.
This is ALL unacceptable and I want something done. Ticketmaster is blaming you, I don’t care whose fault this is, Inwant something done.
