I paid and cant use this site. I wasted so much time with their weak customer service team that cannot resolve the issue..and leaves the chat asking to give feedback.
I just registered on this site 2 days ago. I wish I read the reviews before I signed up. The first message I got was a request to upgrade! I want to cancel my basic subscription, but can’t even find the facility to do so. I’ve come to the conclusion this is an inefficiently run business
I signed up for Roomster and within 1 day had all kinds of responses. One woman, posing as Cinthia M convinced me that she had a room for me and showed me pictures. I paid the security deposit and then the rent. Didn’t hear from her for 8 hours when she said she had an emergency. Although she had shown me her bank balance at 29K, she texted me today and said she needed me to send her $200 to get her home. When I refused she got evil. I asked for a refund and she said “yeah, go elsewhere; I ain’t refunding”.
On June 2, 2020, a room for rent on roomster became a scam and I lost 600.00. What more do I need to say? Today I called a roomster number with a recording. I have to file a police report, attorney general, FBI, etc. I will try a roomster link.
Save your money. This site is ridiculous! It’s impossible to contact Roomster and expect to receive a response. I cancelled in time but still was charged the $24.95 fee so now must dispute this unauthorized transaction.
Don’t waste your money! And when u call their support number btw, u get a recording from a heavily accent person telling you to email them or write. Never a live person!

I cancelled my account on 12/17/18. I still was charged another months’ fee!!! PLEASE REPLY to notify me of a reimbursement as soon as possible. If I do not hear a response in 24 hours I will file a dispute with my bank.

I want to cancel whatever it is I have with your company. I no longer have the app on my phone and have no idea how to “cancel” so you don’t keep charging my card twice a month.
I’ve found people in my area using craigslist. I thought this was forbidden. I do some affiliate marketing too. Seems anyone can place an add true or not and get paid to the unsuspecting masses. Is that what you want your company to be. If not you should set up a way to easily report these listings. People go to roomster with sincerity. It’s very disappointing to find out they’ve been scammed out of $8.

If you signed up because you replied to an ad on craigslist, and the reply back directed you to sign up for roomster – the person that owns that house didn’t post the ad on craigslist – a random affiliate spammer for roomster did. And they got a credit for signing you up. And that was all they wanted.
I cancelled on Google and still my account is being charged. I sent a request to customer service and have not received a response.What else must I do to get my refunds back it’s adding up weekly..
I have tried to cancel my roomster subscription on 4 occasions now and it would appear to have fallen on deaf ears. Roomster continues to charge for there services to which I no longer wish to get.

I have had an account with roomster for several weeks, PAYING to use the service. Today, without provication, they cancelled my account and removed me?! For NO FUCKING REASON. Yesterday I paid for my subscription and then I log on today again. When I when back to look at another page I could not get on there. It said I had been reported!! My account was falsely reported and deleted!!!I contacted Roomster as well to see what was going on with my account.

Yesterday I registered with Roomster and immediately was on a page with numerous other single women advertising in Miami, Florida where I plan to relocate. And at very reasonable prices to share. Now today I cannot locate such info or the webpage I was on yesterday. Can you please tell me what happened and I contact people looking to share apts or houses in around Miami? thank you. i just don’t understand why today the website says no one to share in miami and yesterday so many with full contact info.
