I am frequent postmates user who has had a HORRIBLE experience today that cannot possibly be consistent with your brand I am hoping that you all care enough about your customer to rectify the matter.
This morning I ordered food and it was not delivered i stood outside in mid 40 degree weather watching the driver on the tracker 1 block over. I called three times and got no answer. The driver never tried to reach me to say there wqs a problem. My order then disappears from the app.
I call customer care and they say that they will to see what happens. They said they called three times and there is no answer. When I asked what they would do to rectify the matter they said we won’t charge you, to which I respond that Is not enough. I asked if they planned to resend my food, or offer my compensation which they refused and said could not be done. I know this to be untrue because it has been done when previous mistakes have been made. I remained a customer thereafter.
I was told by representative Chris that they would not be able to do that so I requested that the call be escalated to who could. I asked for a manager. They told me there is not a manager I could only get a call back. I said I would hold for a manager to become available and they told me that was not an option. Do you all not have a system in place to answer customer concerns immediately ? I asked for a ticket number, reference id number, badge number, or last name I was told that I could not get one and that he was going to terminate my call if I didn’t accept a call back.
After he hung up on me, I called back asking for a manager and Leah who also had no additional identifying references confirmed that I could not speak to a supervisor, that no reference info could be given to me, that I could not receive an email account from them to reach out to but that I could only use the app. I explained that I wanted to file a formal complaint. I was told that the app was the only way. This is gross mismanagement of customer care.
For health reasons, I must eat at a certain time. I order with a buffer in case there is error but to have no effort made to rectify the matter other than not charging me is outrageous. Of course there is no charge, you’ve failed to deliver. How then do you show loyal customers that you value their business. I hope you plan to do something about this.
I am a merchant that deals with several delivery services and yours, by far, is the worst. I tried to contact you about a takeout order rung in online but not picked up and find out you do not answer phones anymore. When I then try to contact you online I am greeted by blank pages every time I try to link to customer service. If I cannot have you correct your mistakes then I have no other choice but to cancel all Postmates orders until we have a line of communication.
I have been overcharged multiple times. One of my orders was two hours late and they brought me the wrong item. I overpaid and need a refund for these multiple charges. My order was suppose to be here at nine and arrived past 11:30. They did not ever have what I placed as an order. They brought me something else instead which was a lot less food and not what I wanted. I am tired of my card declining because of these ridiculous overcharges. Please fix this problem. Thank you.
