In support of the writer above. I called FUBO yesterday and was told that to get the Blazers it was an extra $20 above and beyond the $69 he mentions. Paul Allen helped found Microsoft and his legacy is extremely low tech for Blazer’s broadcast. The reason ROOTS is a rip off is due to their connection with AT&T which in my experience is the absolutely worst. They claim Spectrum carries the Blazers but SPECTRUM SAYS THEY DON’T. I was a fan for 40 years and this is the worst broadcast service yet.
It is absolutely ridiculous that I have to subscribe to FUBO TV at $65.00 a month to be able to watch my local team play home games. This is a huge fan problem for the Blazers. There was a comment that said your new multi year deal with ROOT Sports is supposed to bring the blazer into more homes. Whom ever came up with that obviously has no idea that the everyday normal fan does not have an additional $65.00 a month to put out so we can watch our basketball team. At this point living here in Portland I can watch almost every other team in the NBA more than I can of our own team. The person that made this decision obviously doesn’t care about the Blazers fan base. Once again its all about the revenue. And that’s sad. We as Blazers fan support our team in the good time and bad.
