About Nepal Police
Nepal Police is the main civil law enforcement agency in the small mountainous country of Nepal. The national police force was formed in the year 1951. It’s motto states “Truth, Service & Security”. The agency, coming under the Ministry of Home Affairs, is headed by the Inspector General of Police of Nepal. The police jurisdiction covers Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts.
