I had an eye exam and bought glasses. I was give an invoice that had my insurance paid and my part of the bill. Except the dr office never put this bill to my insurance. I ended up paying 100% of the bill. I have spent three months trying to get reimbursed. No one at the local office or the corporate office will help. I’m told its being processed. Will never again.
I wish I would have read the reviews before deciding to go there. I was considering going to another office just to order glasses but now no way!!!! Horrible service. No accountability of mistakes and delays. Rude abrupt disrespectful manager. Left me in the store to take a personal call outside . . . No help from patient relations.
Do not recommend!
Similar experience to above. I got a new prescription 07/22, and had glasses made. I knew that I would be away for a while but they insisted that it would be no problem that I could pick them up whenever, even though I was not expecting to be back until October. No worries, picked up my glasses in October, tried them for a little while, but they were just terrible. Brought them back in Nov. got a new set of lenses in Dec. In Jan. I came back and said that they were still no good at all. They said well it’s been 6 months, your plan will pay for a new exam, we want you to get a new exam. So I did, and then got the lenses redone. This time with a song and dance about it has been a long time, and we are doing you a special favor etc. come back 2 wks later. Terrible again, I try them for a couple of days and go back. This time I go through everything with the optician who again gives me the song and dance about we really can’t do this for free. Seems the 07/21 prescription was an error, but the 01/22 wasn’t, but they made a 2nd mistake and made the glasses a 3rd time with the same bad prescription. Finally today I got the new lenses with the 01/22 correct prescription today. So far pretty good, can see far, can see near, though still not fully adjusted to them.
This is the worst place I could have chosen to get my glasses, I feel robbed of my money and the worst part is I can’t use my glasses! The 1st time the person that assisted me took the wrong measurements so I couldn’t see correctly, I called and they said give it a couple of weeks it never got better so I went in and they said it was the measurements and I got the correct pair unfortunately they slipped off my face with the mask since they have a warranty I went in and they were replaced with the original wrong measurements. Because of Covid-19 I had to go out of town for a very extended period of time to tend to a relative’s family so I used my older glasses since I’m back now I’ve tried to get the right glasses so I can use them since I paid a lot of money for them, but guess what the prescription is expired, what a joke!
Horrible business and horrible experience!
