Montreal Metro is a subway system serving the region of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It began operations in 1966 and currently connects to 68 stations. Montreal Metro is operated by Societe de transport de Montreal. Being the third busiest in North America, the metro transports over 1.2 million commuters each day.
Montreal Metro has four lines that consists of Green (Angrignon to Honore-Beaugrand), Orange (Cote-Vertu to Montmorency), Yellow (Berri-UQAM to Longueul-Universite-de-Sherbooke) and Blue (Snowdown to Saint-Michel). Commuters taking the metro enjoy a variety of ticket options, including 1 Day Ticket, 3 Day Ticket, Weekly Pass, Monthly Pass, among others. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth, or through vending machines. In addition to regular tickets, there is also the rechargeable OPUS smart card that can hold multiple tickets and is used by most transit authorities. OPUS cards can be purchased from retail outlets or manned stations. Visit the website to plan your journey, see schedule, route map or fares. For more information or queries on tickets, payment, refund, parking, lost and found items, or others, reach the Montreal Metro customer service.
I bought a couple of ticket at McGill station, 2022-4-28, at 6:14PM. It was a montly pass, and 4 pass and 1 pass. When I swiped, the metro card showed 3 instead of 4, so I went back to the booth. I showed the receipt that says Agent #38690, transaction #125, service #3905. I explained the situation to the man in the booth, and he was upset for his mistake and started denying and cursing “Tabarnak!” Numerous times. He didn’t charge 1 more trip nor refund my money. I didn’t want to get hurt as a woman.
Poor customer service today at Metro Peel. Metro closed for 1 hour and i had just purchased my return ticket 6 CAD. When i went to the representative to ask what was going on he only replied in french and i was not able to get my money back. Neither could he tell me why the metro had closed down in english. My planned journey by metro had become useless to me, since i had to go back and forth within the next 2 hours. Therefore i wanted to return the ticket and get my money back. As a visitor to montreal i will not have the opportunity to use my metro ticket some other time since i leave tomorrow
Poor service experience. I feel very disappointed
