About Maharashtra Public Service Commission
Maharashtra Public Service Commission is a government body responsible for recruiting civil service officers in the state of Maharashtra. Established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India, the constitutional body conducts exams and interviews for appointment to various posts. The recruitment of candidates is done on the basis of interview, screening test and examinations. The recruitment is conducted to the service of the state government and the related organisations. It further advises the state government on matters relating to recruitment, disciplinary matters, transfers and claims for reimbursement. It also advises the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai regarding appointments.
Dates for exams and interviews are published through notifications in major newspapers. Instructions for candidates appearing for exams are available on the website. Additionally, find the time table, syllabus and past question papers and answers published online. If you have already written an exam, visit the Results section to see your score. Also the list of admitted candidates should show the names of those selected. Did you know, you can now send application online.
