About Letgo
Letgo is a mobile classified app that is relatively new, but is one of the fastest growing marketplace. Founded in 2015, Letgo boasts of more than 20mn active users on its platform. It’s an app that has been downloaded more than 45mn times as well. With the app, available for both iOS and Android, users can buy and sell items conveniently. Besides English, the app also supports Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Turkish, Croatian and Dutch. Letgo is headquartered in New York, US.
Users will need to register on the Letgo platform to buy or sell items. Popular items sold via Letgo include smartphones, tablets, cameras, laptops, shoes, fashion accessories, toys, computers, to name a few. Categories listed include Fashion & Accessories, Home & Garden, Electronics, Baby & Child, Sports/Leisure, Cards & Motors, and Movies/Books. Letgo is free for buyers, however there is a small fee for sellers to list their items. Letgo only acts a platform connecting the buyer and seller. It does not facilitate payments or assist in disputes and refunds. It suggests buyers and sellers to meet in person and use a secure payment method such as PayPal.
Sellers can create their profile and instantly start taking pictures to upload. They can set a price and provide detailed description of the item. The listing can be easily edited any time. Things that cannot be sold through Letgo include pets, weapons, perishable items, alcoholic beverages, counterfeit products, seized goods, illegal drugs, fireworks, pesticides, tobacco, stolen property and hazardous materials. If you are a buyer, you can start looking for items, by inputting the keyword and entering the city and zip code you are located. Buyers can also leave reviews on products and sellers. For more information or queries on payment, cancellation, new registration, technical support, or others reach the Letgo customer service.
Worthless site. My posting keep getting deleted as “duplicates” even though I’ve duplicated nothing. I PAID to feature an item, they took my money and deleted the account. All I did was edit the item by lowering the price. ZERO support. Also, every new listing for other items I try let me post, then I get a message saying I can only post in the country I’m living in. A waste of time and took my money. I need to find places where I can publically rate this site.
You marked my item as unavailable because I added photos for a potential buyer. Somehow it got relisted and now I can’t even delete it. There apparently is no human to speak with. Ridiculous
I have just put furniture for sale on your website and received a response but it won’t let me answer the response because it says my account is under review. Whats going on????
There’s someone named “Allison from Letgo” that keeps responding to my item for sale. She says she will repost my item for free with the same details. I blocked this person the first time and now she’s back again. Is this a legitimate request because from my understanding, my items are already posted for free. I will not respond to this person until I get clarification from Letgo that “your employee” is legit. P.S. She responds to my posts at 1am.
My items were never posted even though I took many pictures and followed the instructions. On my profile it says hasn’t posted yet. What’s going on and how can I speak to a human being?
Are effing crazy?! Your advice to sell something quicker was:1)try selling something different. 2) feature my item for 99cents.

The cold hard truth is, and of course you cant tell us this, is that unless your selling cell phones or other electronics, your just gonna have to invest some time in waiting for that one person to come along.

My LetGo app isn’t working. When I try to open it, It goes to a white screen then kicks me out. I can’t see my messages and it’s getting frustrating. I don’t want to leave buyers hanging. Thanks
Rating system is useless. One person has 3 reviews and has nothing listed for sale or anything being sold. Another has 1 thing for sale and nothing sold but the other day had 7 reviews and 2 days later has 9 reviews. Give me a break. I got rated by someone that i didnt do business with. LOL. This site is a joke!!!!!
Agreed! A stupid person got mad that I sold my item to someone with a higher offer and wrote me a one star review even though I didn’t sell him the item!!

Same happens with me. Im very frustrated with their stupid system. I posted new cosmetic items, (done that before…. and my posts went through)but not this time. I write “brand new” in all my items, but their stupid system removes my posts and sending me messages that I am selling used items. But what is interesting, when ur item went through…guess what it is written on their system……..”used item” …I have no words to describe what i think of their stupid system.

I was trying to purchase a ps4 from a user by the name of Tracy from Willowbrook,IL He was selling it for 140 but because I was coming from Lombard,IL he knocked it down to 125 as I was opening the bag to look he took off with my 125 and when i fully opened the bag it was odd and cords and a binder with a automotive book So I tried contacting him but no answer so went to the Willowbrook PD and filed a police report and pressed theft charges he’s done it before PD said so this guy will be put on BLAST
I found my stolen property on your app. Is there a way you can suspend the account? what can I do to prevent my property from being stolen. I have contacted the police regarding the issue.
I have a coffee machine listed and several times I had messages from people that really wanted to buy the machine after asking questions about the product….. at least 10 messages back and forth. Then I got strange questions and people asking me to try out the machine in my house or their house….
In the end the questions were getting bizarre, and I stopped communication
I really do not like the app and people making pranks or have bad intentions , I do not have a good experience with ” Letgo”
I am disillusioned with your site. The concept is great and the commercials are clever but my experience was neither. Responders were all nutty types who set appointments and never showed up. I no longer want it but I can’t seem to delete it. Please delete my account or whatever it is. Thanks
I paid twice to have my TV DVD player and speaker system bumped up its a 65″ Samsung TV ultra HD it’s supposed to be under the electronic section now I can’t find it
I’m about to delete this app because none of my items are showing up on the site and I use the bump up to get at least 1 item highlighting. I believe that is a racket because I only get my things seen is if I bump it up and you call it free. Im disgusted by this app.
July 24,25 2017 I need to know what to do in the case of buying a car from a (ladywife and man in the reserves)seller and I was told the title would be sent in the mail and would be here in 4 days but no more than 30 days if lost. So we filled out the title as he said he was selling it and his boss had the title so he took the paperwork and left the car for 4 weeks. I called him to ask about a couple of things and he was nice and told me the transmission was going bad and he bought it from an aquaintance at auction. He came to my apartment to tet drive it which I couldnt it had no tags and he said yes transmission is bad it will be 2 weeks and after that was 3 I called a few times and finally the last time I called he said he was going to Texas for the reserves due to the hurricane and now NO CAR,NO JIM,NO RESPONSE and my money is gone too!! He told me he would pay me my money yeah like I wait fort hat i will be dead and buried. I spent all I had and I am a veteran in a real JAM now with no car I cannot work and pay my bills so any help at all would be gret idf nothing but justice althouh I prefer my own the police will do. 2002 Black Pontiac Bonneville was $1000 cash. Can I sell thru Letgo on my computer-like Craigslist? I understand I have to have the android or IOS applications. I installed the site bluestacks, which is touted as offering a way to get the android app for a computer-would this work?
About a week ago, I had a problem with a man who said he would buy an item from me then he became belligerent when I reminded him a few days later, quoting his own text back to him. He basically accused me of threatening him and scaring him. Then he wrote a very negative review of me which supposedly is being investigated by Letgo, but it hasn’t been removed yet and makes me look like I’m planning to attack him in his sleep. I’m a 69-yr-old very mild-mannered school teacher, and am distressed by his over-reaction and deceptive review. I’d be happy to print our entire interaction which fortunately never moved beyond texting on Letgo.
I have someone using my account without my permission. I have no idea how this person is but I’m getting bad reviews due to this. How do I stop this from happening again?
I bought something. It was broken. The seller sent so many emails with times he would meet me but never showed.
He promised a refund but again never showed.
How can the police track down an account holder? I was scammed by an individual by the name John Ruatto and I have filed a police report. Is there anyway this individual can be identified and found?
You can see I listed a Samsung Smartcam A1 and sold it to him. He paid me with a check and ended up stopping payment on it. You can then see that he has the same Samsung Smart A1 relisted on his account.

Today, August 8th, I went to Cody Webber’s house to purchase some vinyl records from him. It was very difficult to find, but when I got there (Still on time, even though his residence was not mapped on Google Maps), he wasn’t, so I had to wait for him to arrive–which he never did. Eventually his wife brought the item out to me and I paid her. A few minutes later, he asked me to review him via the messaging service on LetGo. I did, giving him 3 stars because his house was very difficult to get to and he never showed up and I had to wait over 20 minutes for his wife to bring the item to me. He then messaged me and asked why I did not give him 5 stars. I did not respond because I was very uncomfortable by the situation, and did not feel like arguing over text with a man that I had never met. He then changed his 5 star review of me to 1 star saying I was not polite. I would like for this review of me to be removed because a) Cody Webber never met me, therefore cannot accurately judge my politeness, and b) I was nothing but polite to his wife.
These people belong behind bars. They won’t let you delete your own account and they don’t do it for you when you demand by email. They need to be put out of business. I’ve seen the worst reviews about this scam!
I posted my desk one time and y’all keep flagging it as a duplicate. I have never posted it until today and yes I did it twice cause you flagged it the first time and now a second. I would like to be able to post my desk or else this app is completely useless to me if I can’t post my stuff. Also I have a set of tires I would like to repost in a diff location

First time buyer and got scammed for a 60″ TV for $200.. I was told by seller that it was in function condition Robert Garcia. Conversation was made via let go messaging.. please contact me for account holder information.. A police report will be made to help stop future bad deals thought this useful app.. I posted several items to sell on Letgo, within minutes I got people replying to me, ready to buy things, without asking any questions. Like that was not wired enough, they offered me more money of what the asking price was, “to hold the item for them”. I was stupid enough to give my address for them to mail a “certified check”..Days later the check came for 670 Dollars, for a 50 Dollar item I was selling. I am holding it to bring to the police to report the scam. and hopefully get that person. The other “buyer” showed up at my door at 11 PM, instead of 7 PM and kept harassing until the police was called..I feel disgusted with the whole experience.. It was my first and only experience selling on line. Thank God I read reviews on line, to not get any further with the transactions that could have taken place. I wonder if I can report them to the the police, court or anyone else for stealing people’s identity. I will honestly take my time doing it. I am an innocent person, who was taken advantage of..
Your site has become eBay. I like the idea a people selling 1 or 2 items, but now many are using this site as a business posting hundreds or thousands of items that take to long to weed thru. I suggest imposing a max number of postings per day or week. I would like to see this site return to post a photo and sell something, not post an entire store’s inventory as a business. I mean really, sorting thru a woman’s entire wardrobe is a waste of time and I am going to delete this app as I already have eBay.
Why is it that I have sent you at least 2 messages but you have not responded to not one of them. I can not see one of my items that I posted. You said that you discarded my items because duplicate posting of the same item was posted. Well if I had seen them I would have not posted them. I am getting ready to delete my app and start over again. I am getting ready to move and need to get rid of some things before I make the move. I am looking for a response from you. Thank you.
