My 6TB Porsche external drive crashed, contacted support and the agent had no idea what I was talking about, said she was forwarding me to the iPhone specialist who would contact me, and didn’t. Ridiculous. Plus, she shuffled me off to some site that demands a credit card. Such lousy customer service and tech support reflects badly on the company. Compare with Apple. Pathetic.
I have sent over 50 emails to La CiE and messaged them on instagram all to never hear back. I have never been more disappointed in a company in my life. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. A WASTE OF MONEY. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW.

I called both numbers, just to be sure, and neither work anymore. You get a Verizon error message. Is this long enough to post now?
My new La Cie 1 TB Rugged USB-C Drive has me a bit confused. My concern revolves around the fact that this drive will be shuttled around among at least three people. We’ll be uploading and downloading pictures and video for a website we’re constructing. My concern is probably a very minor one. The instructions that come with the drive say it’s a “Single Licensee” device. Since I purchased it, I guess that’s me. My questions are these: Will all three of us need to download the operating software from the drive to be able to use it? If so, may all three of us use separate passwords on our own computers when using the drive? And, am I understanding correctly, that to safely eject the drive each time, we must eject both “LA CIE SHARE” and “LaCie” every time? One more thing….. This pops up on the screen when I get ready to eject: “LACIE SHARE” is a partition on a disk that has 2 partitions. Do you want to eject “LACIE SHARE” only, or both partitions? To eject both, click Eject All, or hold down the Option key while ejecting. To eject only “LACIE SHARE,” click Eject, or hold down the Control key while ejecting.” There are three buttons under this that say: “Cancel” “Eject All” and “Eject” What should I be clicking on?
I would like to speak to someone concerning a Lacie that I have that is not working? I don’t know what happened? I kept hearing a beeping sound and then it just stopped working. I am at a school in Mississauga and had our tech guy look at it and he couldn’t figure it out? can someone please contact me, thanks Tina

I have taken well over one and a half hours attempting to make contact. All I want to know is how do I locate the serial number of my hard drive so I can follow up with contact and download a user manual!
Product: Porsche Design slim drive P’9223 500GB designed for Mac. I have two numbers both of which are not recognised when I attempt to down load a PDF. N2870 and 15091308301415QRAR25U3S. I need a user manual or better would like to talk with someone to guide me in the use of the hard drive.
QUESTION: We have just bought a Lenova laptop model Len Yoga Pen/2/32/11.6t. Will the Porsche Slim Design P’9223 Designed for Mac be compatible to transfer files from my wife’s old ASUS Eee PC 900 Series to this new computer?
Unfortunately I have mislaid the invoice but I did register the unit I think sometime in 2013. Name Russell Polden, post code SN95LN.
I hope I will not have the same trouble I experienced after buying a LacieD2 Quadra Hard Drive 750GB – date of purchase 17.12.2007 at a cost of £160.98. The thing never worked, your technical department were useless, failed to solve the problem and and did not offer any compensation. In the end I gave up and vowed never to buy Lacie again.
The only reason I bought this new one was because it was sold via a Mac store and I needed to save and down load from my iMac.
Please contact me soon, better, try my landline 01672 562744 where hopefully one of you guys might just possibly help?
Hopefully but despairing
Russell.
