Hello. When I order a book through Kobo I used a credit card that was on my Kobo account. In the past year I had fraud and cancelled my card. A while later I updated my credit card details on my Kobo account and ordered another book. Same thing happened. More fraud charges. All fraud charges came from the Vancouver area with both credit cards. The credit card company alerted me as charges were suspicious. I only use this credit card for two vendors, of which Kobo is one of the vendors. I have used my newest card to make purchases with the other vendor and have NOT use this new card for any Kobo purchases . I have had no fraud since. I find this somewhat suspicious and wonder if someone from Kobo is sharing credit card information. I feel I can not trust Kobo with credit card info. I now purchase gift cards, from my local grocery store, to order books.
This email is to bring this to your attention. The credit card company has reimbursed me for all the fraud charges. I enjoy the option to order books online to read on my tablet but will probably continue to buy gift cards to make purchases with your company.
I bought a Kobo book and had problems installing on my iPad. I contacted your customer support and was transferred to JustAnswer.com. I solved my problem without help and ignored JustAnswer but I was charged 66$ CDN on my credit card without my approval.
I LOVE my kobo! I just have a suggestion. I would love if it had a simple voice command to turn the pages. Like “turn” or “back”. I read everyday and in the evening when I am comfy cozy in bed I could be so lazy and not have to hold it to turn the page! Just a whisper of “flip” and the page would turn! Just dreaming of the perfect kobo! Thank you. Lol!
I bought a series in two parts and then went into my books and had bought the series already ages ago, Thought this would come up at purchase that i already owned them. Very cross as this such a waste of money and now ill have to double check all the time. Will get sick of this.
Just some feedback. Tried to send through the links in kobo emails or through the kobo app but I just get error messages. Just wondering why you take the time to offer VIP members special exclusive savings (like VIPDEC promo) when you only offer discounts on junk books. It’s really worse than offering nothing all, it’s just always a disappointment. Seiously, please stop.
My son has enjoyed reading books 1 and 2 of Annabelle Mallet’s series titled Adventures of a new witch. He was very disappointed when he tried to diwnload book 3 to find books 3 to 12 no longer on kobo. Please can these books be added to kobo again so he can complete the mystery.
