About Knott’s Berry Farm
Knott’s Berry Farm is an amusement park located in Buena Park, California. Opened in the year 1920, the park boasts of over 40 rides, including roller coasters and water rides. The 160 acre park is owned by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. Reported to be America’s first theme park, Knott’s Berry Farm was founded by Walter and Cordelia Knott.
Some of the games and attractions at Knott’s include the 4-D interactive ride Voyage to the Iron Reef, the 2,100-foot waterway Timber Mountain Log Ride, Coast Rider, whitewater river raft ride Bigfoot Rapids, coaster Sierra Sidewinder, rocking ship Dragon Swing, inverted coaster Silver Bullet, coaster Boomerang, coaster GhostRider and thrill ride Supreme Scream.

Visitors to the park can use the Anaheim Resort Transit or Metrolink Trains to commute. Parking is available for those with their own vehicles. Knott’s offers plenty of dining options for visitors. Also, there is the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel that offers deluxe accommodations. With over 300 rooms, the hotel has a fitness center, pool, gift shop, wireless internet and other amenities. Just like the other comments here, I will not be going back to Knott’s just because of how we were treated by employees. I was so shocked how unprofessional and grossly incompetent they were. They were extremely rude when I tried to ask questions. They were too busy talking to each other to seat guests (they had to be told over the intercom to send guests up in ghost riders). The wait times for rides were super slow, not because it was busy, but because the employees were too busy laughing and talking to each other. I was honestly very upset. I’ve been to universal studios, Disneyland, Disney World, and Six Flags, and I have never in my life experienced such bad training. The employees at Knott’s would have conversations over the public intercom! For one example, we were waiting in line for the Pacific Scrambler and the two employees were talking so much they didn’t even acknowledge us, there were multiple spaces empty on the ride and they didn’t even let us on. We had to wait around 15 mins to be seated in what should have been a walk on ride if they were doing their job. I also tried to ask a question and the lady just kept waving her hand in the direction she wanted me to go and shaking her head, instead of talking to me like a human being. I complained to Knott’s via email but they ignored me AFTER hearing my complaint. Probably the same employees in that department as well.
I have been going to this park ever since I could remember had most of my firsts here but I was treated absolutely horrible the other day by park staff and honestly I wouldn’t ever recommend anyone spend their free time here if you’re over 21 because of the stuff that will treat you like a degenerate no matter what and let rude guests accuse you of whatever they wish to
I bough passes for my son and I. We tried to visit on Sunday. They turned us away at the gate saying our passes were no good. My son was so disappointed. I went to guest services to try and resolve this issue. Customer services was so rude, and treated us horribly!! Not once offered to any kind of resolvent, or would you like to purchase other tickets, discount, an apology, NOTHING!!! I wanted a refund for parking, he said go get a receipt. I spent 30 min walking to go get receipt from the parking booth then waiting another 15-20 min to get a refund for parking.. I have visited this park 4 times with my family in the past 5 months and spent money. However this will be the last time we visit. We will not be returning ever.
