About Indeed Inc
Indeed.com is a popular job search portal founded by Paul Forster and Rony Kahan in 2004. Part of Recruit Holdings, Indeed boasts of 200 million unique visitors each month from over 60 countries. Headquartered at Austin, Texas, Indeed also has offices located at Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, India, UK, France and Canada.
Job seekers can use the platform to search jobs, read company reviews and find salary reports. Users can also subscribe to get daily emails with jobs that match any search. Uploading a resume can be done for free. You can search a job by title, keyword or company name. Use the advanced search to filter results by job type (part time/full time) and location.
If you are an employer or recruiter, you can post your jobs online and reach millions of job seekers. After creating a job, you can then review applications, manage candidates and schedule interviews from your Indeed account. Employers can sponsor a job to receive more exposure. For more information or queries on registration, payment, refund, cancellation, or others, reach the Indeed customer service.
I have applied numerous times using this site. Never called for an interview. When I called the employer they said they had never recieved the application. I get a confirmation though from Indeed. I have spent last 6 months being unemployed. Thanks to this system of getting traffic and information from us but making sure we never get employed.
I am trying to cancel from your section trying to help me find a career. Four times I have tried because 99% of the 500 jobs a day you hit me with have NOTHING to do from what I requested. I have no time daily to go through that much crud. Now I can not get out? Come on! Cancel me please!!!
I disagree with you instituting this Indeed. questionnaire , half the questions asked DO NOT EVEN PERTAIN to the job you are seeking or applying to. Why would I have to answer questions for sales, or unrelated subjects, when I am applying for only a purchasing position. You attempt with this site is irrelevant and bias to a job seeker.
I tried to contact you because I am having A difficult time getting onto your website. It worked fine for quite a while but then all of a sudden it switched from jobseekers to employers format. Nothing I can do can get me back in jobseekers and when I tried to call nobody was there to help me. By the looks of some of these other commentsI have seen I am wondering if I am even in the right place. I definitely need some technical advice on how to use your website because I cannot get out of the employers format. All choices I make only take me to pages that are useless. I wish you would make it easier for us non-technical types. So far nothing good has come from indeed
I have already canceled the subscription still it is showing active, and also it deducted money from my credit card.
Privacy of my Credit Card Information is being misused?
No Job Post is active, or nothing is being used or nothing is active,
I have already canceled everything though its deducting money
Just cancel the subscription and refund my money.
How do I get my email address off Indeed? I am getting bombarded with emails daily and none of them are applicable to the jobs I was searching for. I already found a job, not through Indeed.com, and the non-stop, inapplicable emails is becoming annoying.
With the technical ability to have the most sophisticated security available, I am appalled that a site such as Indeed allows for not one, but two fraudulent job advertisements! I applied for one position several months ago, only to learn it was fraudulent. Apparently, Indeed did nothing to correct that other than to confirm it was a fake position. Recently, I was going to apply for another position and I elected to send an email to the company’s website inquiring if they were in fact opening a shop in my area and if the position was real. Guess what!! Another fraudulent position posted on Indeed. All they do is simply take the position ad down. How is someone supposed to fully trust their personal application information being posted on a site they are supposed to trust!???!!
Disappointed by your services.
I contacted Indeed to buy a subscription plan which cost me 7080 Indian Rupees. After purchasing subscription Indeed Internal Team blocked my account the same day and I tried contacting them to find out the reason for blocking the account after receiving payment. Multiple times I called them to know the reason but they said we will get back to you by the end of the day, no one called me back. Then I spoke with one representative and came to know that they have blocked my Indeed account because of there internal team and they want me to present my business documents, telling them multiple times that I am an Independent / Freelancer employee I don’t own a business. Then I got an email from Vijay Nelludi and I called him to clearly understand the scenario, he told me to get in writing from a company that I am authorized recruiter and I work for them. Same I did and shared with him written By CEO of a company with his domain email that I am an authorized recruiter. Vijay told me to wait for some time. After 2 days Manubhav called me on Friday last week on behalf of vijay to let me know that my issue has been resolved and I will be able to use my indeed account I just need to follow some steps that he says, I did same. Today, I got an email from Vjay that my account cant be activated. Its 20th day after the subscription has been purchased and now you are coming up with this and that too without any reason. I have not used my subscription package even a single day.
I request you to please ask them to repay my 7080 INR back or provide me access to my package for a full complete month (30days).
WHAT IN THE HECK!!!!!
Some security you have at indeed. I was contacted by an “employer” who reached out and offered me a job position. After countless tries to get ahold of the company turns out someone hacked into indeed and sent out all kinds of requests. Now I have some stranger with all my personal info. WHO PROTECTS MY SAFETY AND SECURITY?!! How can I feel safe using your website and how to ease my mind of someone having all my information
I am really upset with you. I signed my husband and I up for part time work on your website and agreed to be contacted by your ‘marketing partners’. Funny, I have had 18 phone calls since I got on your site this morning! 8 calls from Utah phone numbers saying they were the IRS AND Social Security asking for my Social Security number and telling me I had x amount of time to contact them or they were issuing a warrant! 5 unknown numbers who did not have a great grasp of English and the rest phones telemarketers with hijacked names and numbers.
I also had to put a freeze on my credit because I was notified my personal information was found on the dark web!!!
I am canceling my subscription and putting a copy of this on Facebook. I am also contacting the government fraud Division as you have sold my number.
Dear Sirs:
I am hurt by your latest commercial. I do not like the message being sent: a woman in management (not that part – proud of that) looking out a window “searching” for her next employee. She selects a young man over several others outside her office window. This looks as if she is looking for her next catch. To make matters worse, she touches the guy ever so subtlely. What message are you sending? Woman are now acting like immoral men?
