About Georgia Aquarium
Georgia Aquarium is a non-profit aquarium which is the largest in the US and second largest in the world. It is full of wonders and excitement and is located at Georgia, Atlanta. You will be mesmerized watching tens of thousands of animal swimming before you in over 10 million gallons of water through some of the worldโs most enormous viewing windows. The aquarium boasts of more than 100,000 aquatic animals with variation of more than 700 species. Accommodating extinct, colorful, and lively aquatic life, the marine exhibit has always augmented the expectations of its visitors. As part of building strong bonds with visitors, the largest fishes on the planet- the whale sharks- have felt the warmth of touch of visitors, just separated by 2-foot-thick acrylic windows.
At Georgia, people are committed to preserving the ocean and aquatic animals all over the world, treating them with love and care while also focusing on research and conservation activities. Following that, businessman Bernard Marcus’s foundation donated $250 million with the vision to present an aquarium encouraging both education and economic growth in Atlanta, and that remained the cornerstone of Georgia Aquarium.
