My husband and adult daughter are on our second GAdventures holiday this time in Costa Rica. Our CEO Noellia has been super helpful in liaising with Avianca to reunite us with one of our suitcases, She caters for the needs of a varied group with professional ease, empathy and practical common sense. Her in depth knowledge of each location means we get much more than the advertised trips, excellent restaurants, gyms, yoga classes locations etc
She has been let down by the standard of the hotels in San Jose – the Autentico which shows lovely rooms on its website but provided our group of 16 with unrenovated,old run down versions. In La Fortuna the La Fortuna hotel had an air con outage for 24 hours and were not responsive to requests for fans etc. A number of the rooms do not have windows, facing the atrium instead and are dark ,small and need redecorating.The safe in our 2 rooms did not work either
Had a great trip to Patagonia recently, extremely well organised and good guide.
Shame that the pre trip service wasn’t great. Not very informative and could have been a bit more helpful. Plus, it would be worth revising the ‘what to pack’ list as some of it was irrelevant and when you are having an internal flight weight limit of 15kg every item counts.
