About Fuji-Q Highland
Fuji-Q Highland is a theme park located at the foot of Mt Fuji in Japan. Opened in the year 1969, the park boasts of 40 attractions, many that hold a Guinness world record. Fuji-Q Highland originally started as the Fuji Goko International Skating Center. Besides the attractions, the park also is popular for the special events it holds that draws in massive crowd. Fuji-Q Highland is open on most days from 8am to 6pm.
There are total 7 roller coasters at the park. Out of the 7, the Fujiyama was once the world’s tallest roller coaster. The Do-Dodonpa also was credited as the world’s fastest roller coaster. Operated by Fujikyu Highland Co Ltd, the amusement park’s major attractions include the Haunted Hospital (haunted attraction) and Thomas Land (a children’s area). Other attractions include Tentekomai, TAkabisha, Eeanaika, Desperation Fortress 3, Tondemina, Nagashimasuka, Shining Flower, Sky Cycle, Water Ace, Ice Skating Rink, 3D Maze, Eiffel Tower Carousel, to name a few.
Besides games and attractions, visitors will find a number of shopping and dining options.
