About Eventbrite
Eventbrite is a web-based event and ticket management company that was launched in the year 2006. The San Francisco-based firm processes over 4 million tickets each month. Some 187 countries in fact host events using Eventbrite’s cutting-edge platform. Through Eventbrite anyone can create, promote and manage an event in no time. Once a page has been created, organisers can further promote the event through social media tools.
Event organisers can design their own page, offer multiple ticket options including reserved seating, accept credit/debit cards for payment, track sales, track progress real time and send invitations and emails from the Eventbrite account. Other features include offline payment, mobile-optimized pages, group registration, automated reminder, custom seat map, check in of guests, fundraising, easy refunds, direct deposit of payment, among others.
Eventbrite is free for those that do not charge for entry. Users can freely create and promote events, parties and seminars. However for those events that charge, a small fee will be taken for using Eventbrite’s platform. The payout method include direct deposit, check (USD only) or PayPal. Payouts are initiated five business days after an event ends.
Eventbrite also provides event planning and management software for companies. The software allows to send invitations and track RSVPs and ticket sales in one platform. Smartphone lovers can download the Eventbrite Neon app to login and access tools to manage an event. Through the app, you can monitor real time sales, accept fast and secure payment, and provide ticket scanning and guest check-in. You can further connect a card reader to simply swipe and receive payments. You can also connect a printer to print tickets and receipts on the spot.
Whatever event it may be, workshops, conferences, food, music, nonprofits, fundraisers, visual arts or politics, you can use Eventbrite to manage your event like a pro. Besides the US, the company also has operations in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Singapore and the UK. For more information or queries on payment, refund, cancellation, or others, reach the Eventbrite customer service via phone or email.
You should improve the clarity of your Email tickets. I I had privileged access to the Holy Art Fair exhibition, the ticket stating “Viewing Thursday 30 March at 1800 – Sunday 2 April 2023 at 17-00 (United Kingdom time)”. I turned up at 11:00 on Friday 31 March but no Fair. I wonder how many people were disappointed by the poor clarity of your tickets?
Extremely difficult to make contact with. Kind of like the old roundabout that Telecom (now called Telstra used to operate). You go round in circles. Not impressed.
We should have known it was to good to be true for this free event called Taco Themed Shabbat by Moishe House. We also should have known this was a scam because there was no real address, just stated at University City. Myself and a friend both contacted the organizer before traveling to the so called event and we both did not get no response. Drove from NJ to this event and in this location was construction. This event was supposed to be from 7pm-10pm. We were in this area for an hour starting at 7pm. We asked two police officers that was in the area and they haven’t seen or heard anything about this event. We asked a couple of people walking in the area and no one has seen anything held outside or inside or heard of anything University City area. The next day we emailed another email address of contact and still no response and it’s been about a week now.
Bought tickets for the Mark Anthony concert in 2020. Due to the pandemic, it was postponed to 2021. We came with friends, but there is no concert! The organizer is not responding! Wasted time and money! Do not trust this site !!!!!!!!! If someone is interested and needs proof, I can send tickets and information received by mail!
I just spent the last 20 minutes in a vicious circle trying to contact customer service ,phone numbers all direct me back to the circle of FAQ type pages,I need a REAL PERSON!!! I just found out no tickets have sold for a couple of events because of ticket sale start/finish dates. why would tickets sales continue for an event after the event is over?!?!? and why wouldn’t the default start date be when I create the event?
Trying to buy 3 tickets for the Richard Wood concert at the Souris Showhall on Sept 13 but the website will not let me complete the order. It is required business info & tax number which I do not have. I do not know why these fields are provided if I am just trying to buy tickets and not planning an event.
I need customer support to contact me regarding automatic upgrade and charges that I did NOT approve. This is outrageous. I also need to know ASAP whether donation payments are subject to your new $1.99 charge for events. This combined with the other charges is over half the payment for my events.
Right now I’ve spent over two hours trying to get tickets for what I was charged for immediately after buying online yesterday. After that purchase there was no confirmation email, no tickets and zero customer service. I called and talked to Ticketfly which is listed as the entity which issues tickets. They said that the system was turned over to Eventbrite and couldn’t help me. I went to their website and found a CS phone number – they are closed. I tried emailing them and was automatically notified it takes a week for them to respond to emails. I called Hollywood Forever Cemetary and they said to contact Eventbrite also. Back to their website, they are practiced at avoiding customers with complaints – there is no phone customer service available for them until Tuesday. I looked up the reviews about Eventbrite.
