I have been a lifelong Cowboys fan, born and bred. I gave cheered on my ream since Roger Staubach was quarterback. We gave had good years and not so good years but I am most disappointed in this year’s team. We gave talent but not ALL of the players are playing to win. There are some playing for an undeserved paycheck. Maybe Dak should call Roger and Tony for some pointers on leading Americas team. Maybe both offense and defense need to learn to play well together and create a cohesive and consistent team. Y’all have enough talent to win this thing but not enough people have the drive or desire to do what it takes to win. Y’all are sloppy and embarrassing for lifelong fans. Get it together for us fans. We love this game apparently a lot more than the players. Get your act together and play your strengths and with heart or get out. We don’t need or deserve less. Please start showing that you give a damn or just let me know that not all of my years were wasted on losers who don’t care because they still get paid to not. Man up and grow some.
It’s a shame that the cowboy culture does not promote a winning environment. We go into the playoffs underwhelming performances down the stretch , We have no intentions going out to compete come Saturday night in Philly as you will see by the results . We have won a couple of playoff games over the past 2 decades . Why is such a star studded roster struggling to win meaningful games . I doubt a New England or other successful franchise would throw games away , there is so many areas that need improvement. Also , why does most games start with a lack of intensity , are the coach’s not able to motivate the team once they take the field .
Just watched Dallas lose to the Denver Broncos. I have been a Cowboys fan for 50 years. The tackling in that game was atrocious. Defense only knows how to hit, rather than wrap up the players around the legs. Maybe this week at practice you work on that. Please get this message to Dan Quinn.
If you Want to win Jerry hire some real football people and stay away from the team.Hire a real coach who is aggressive and somebody that is not a puppet. The cowboys have a lot of talent but it’s just being wasted the way things are being handled now.I watch these games objectively and see so many inconsistencies that it is really scary.I have been watching and analyzing games for over thirty years and know that I could do a better job than most of the coordinators currently in the league.Sincerely please try to take a step back and you will see that I am right.
