About Burj Khalifa
Burj Khalifa is a giant tower in Dubai, UAE, that has the distinction of being the world’s tallest. Standing at a height of 2723 feet, it is three times taller than the Eiffel Tower and boasts of 163 floors above ground. Formerly known as Burj Dubai, the tower is named after President of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It took over 6 years and funds of $1.5 billion to complete the marvel. For visitors to reach the top and explore the tower, Burj Khalifa has total 57 elevators and 8 escalators. Designed by renowned architect Adrian Smith, Burj Khalifa holds several records, including tallest free standing building, highest occupied floor, highest number of stories, and longest travel distance elevators.
At Burj Khalifa, you also have a 1.85 mn sq ft residential space and over 300,000 sq ft office space.
