About Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a popular amusement park in Lancashire, England. Also known as Pleasure Beach Resort, the place first opened doors in the year 1896. Spread across 42 acres, Pleasure Beach boasts of more than 40 rides and attractions, including 10 roller coasters and 5 water slides. The amusement park is open 10am to 6pm all days.
Visitors to the park can experience UK’s tallest rollercoaster, The Big One, as well as the country’s first suspended looping coaster completely over water called Infusion. Other rides include The Big Dipper, Dodgems, Flying Machines, Wild Mouse, Valhalla, Revolution, Ice Blast, Grand National, Avalanche, among others. There are a variety of activities for kids at the Nickelodeon Land.
Tickets for entry can be purchased at the entrance or online using major credit cards. There are a variety of unlimited ride ‘Wristbands’. Additionally, there is the Big Value Pass that is valid for 7 days.
