OMG!! iPage is the absolute worst! They are a massive rip off. Starts off great, nice and affordable. Weebly premium nice and cheap. You get your site up and going, then bam, they hit you with absurd renewal fees. My $16.99 + $35 hosting/Weebly plan went to $275 ($155 / $120 hosing/Weebly) !! When I called to complain I got the typical useless, script reading off shore ‘help’. I said that I wanted to downgrade me back to basic Weebly. Because I can’t lose my site, I get stuck with $155 for the domain renewal. Now my site isn’t publishing my updates. Again I contact the useless, script reading off shore ‘help’. The response I get is ‘oh, we don’t credit Weebly’ (uhhh, different than what I was told months earlier). They can charge me for Weebly but cannot credit me for Weebly??? The credit was to ‘downgrade’ my domain + $35 cancellation (coincidentally EXACTLY the amount of $155). Cancellation of what, btw??? I went around and around getting the same script reading fool, providing absolutely no resolution. So now, my only options are to pay their ridiculous charges and continue to get crappy service or tell them to f&*# off and start all over! Guess which route I am going!!! Go with anyone but these scam artists!!
iPage rip me off $2000 of commission for my hard work in 3 months.
iPage frequently scam their affiliates ! A LOT OF TIMES. AGAIN AND AGAIN. A Lot Of Tricks !
If you ever read the iPage affiliate program section in their website, they basically saying that they will pay you $105 for each sale of $35.88 that you made for them (via referral). They are saying you can earn $105 for each sale of $35.88 if you affiliate with them directly in their system.
So, to work with iPage affiliate program, I had to build a good website, hire people to write articles, buying seo serives to boost the site’s rank. I personally support every customer and referral, every single one of them to ensure their happiness with iPage. And yes, the first month they paid me $735. And I was so excited by the first payment from them that I decided to invest further into the business, I invested in videos, facebook pages, facebook ads, google ads, bing ads to promote them.
Sales was on fire.
Guess what ? They didn’t pay me for my second month performance, also my third, my fourth. I’m in my fifth month in doing affiliate with them. I tried to contact them via helpchat support, the helpchat supporters always tell me that affiliate issue is outside of their powers and they had reported the issue to a higher authorized department/manager to look into the problem and will response me via email within 24 – 48 hours.
It has been 3 months since the first message like that and they still fail to resolve the problem for me up to this point (3 months later). The problems with affiliate issues just built up. The amout of missing commission that they owe me also built up. I contact them via helpchat support and via email (to both affiliates@ipage-inc.com and support@ipage-inc.com) twice a week within 3 months to remind them but they just keep telling me to wait, someone is looking into it…
Freaking 3 MONTHS ! not just days or weeks. 3 MONTHS !
I have all my customers email them to confirm about their association with me but I’m still not paid for referring them.
Even now I still get the SAME message that someone is working on it every time I contact them via helpchat. However when the payment cycle comes, they just don’t pay me and tell me to wait more..
IPAGE IS CLEARLY A SCAM. Please affiliates don’t fall for it. They will pay you when you first affiliate with them, trying to bump you up and falsely motivate you. Then, in next upcoming months, when you doing really good, they will scam all your hard work just to get their money back. It’s a trick I have seen a lot.
So my advice for you is that don’t do affiliate business directly with them, do it via Cj.com for example (even in there, they can still scam you, but the risk is smaller) and don’t stick with only one account. THE BEST ADVICE IS NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM !
THEY SCAM BOTH THEIR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR AFFILIATES ALOT OF TIMES ! JUST SERACH IN THE INTERNET AND READ,you will see ! THANKS
I am the retired webmaster for Barling Parish Council Website (URL as below). The URL and Hosting service was cancelled two years ago and is now flagged as available for purchase. However, Google search still shows this as a live site and the outdated content still exists. A new webmaster has been appointed and he is asking for the outdated content to be deleted. Regrettably the account details were lost after I retired. Can anybody please advise or remove this outdated content? Thank you.
The two-Q survey ipage.com trots out after a customer-service conversation fails to ask the key question. Instead you ask questions that may garner higher marks, but waste opportunity.
You ask how knowledgeable the rep was. Well, we often can’t measure that. What we can measure is what you sidestep, the key Q: How RESPONSIVE to your need was this rep?
Hi, I’m struggling to contact iPage and have been for a while now. The Live Chat does not work any more and I am able to view my previous support tickets but can’t start a new one. These features have not been working for a long time now. I have tried to email, using the email addresses from previous emails from iPage, but all go to automated, unmonitored inboxes. Please could you tell me how I can contact them regarding an issue with my website/account? I really need some help very soon. A simple email address would be great. I will not be able to use the telephone contact number due to living in the UK and the potential cost of the phone call. Thanks.
i having a problem with ipage i ask for a password reset and got one then i could not do any thing and now the request is stuck on all screens i have come to a full stop.
i have been through chat 3 times and have not grasped what i am trying to say or may be its me can you help i would like to ring and xplaine

I want to share my bad experience with iPage.
My e-commerce website is hosted on iPage server from 2014. SiteGround was my my first choice but when I got hosting $1/month, I purchased it without know much about company.
From 2014, my account was suspended many time without any reason. there servers get down many times. Databases become unavailable frequently.
There customer support is worse. Many support engineers do not know basic of computer engineering and waste time. There were many occasions where I suggested solutions.
From 25th Oct 2015, my account is suspended and till today 29th Oct 15 I am fighting with them. They say that one of my directory has more than 20000 files and due to that my account is affecting other website performance. My three other websites are down it is showing ipage’s page.
Fact is on 25th August 2015, I moved out this site to iPage’s other server. I have not touched this folder even from 25th August. on new server, same folder has only 7500 files.
From 25th Oct till the time, problem has not been resolved.
In last two years, I faced different problems many time. I so far I have raised 30 tickets Wehn support team is working to resolve other issue, they create one more.

Hello,
I am writing this is response to the ticket #14615211 .
We have again reviewed your account and noticed that files within the directory has not reduced. This is causing performance issues with websites hosted on shared server. Therefore, we have suspended your website to restore stability to our server.
In order to remove the suspension of your website, you should reduce the directory size by removing the files stored in the directory. Once the necessary action is taken, please get back to us so that we can review your account.
Sincerely,
Rashmi P
Security Specialist
