Indian Postal Service was founded in the year 1764. The government postal system is managed by the Department of Posts and is headquartered in Delhi. As of 2008, India Post had some 1,55,035 post offices across the country. In addition, there are 817 head post offices, 24,721 sub post offices and 1,46,509 delivery post offices. When it comes to Speed Post, it manages some 290 across the country. Speed Post links more than 1200 towns in India. There are some 73 countries covered under the International Speed Post. In Mumbai alone, India Post manages some 4,000,000 metro mails each day.

The Central Govt. Employees Group Housing Organization (CGEWHO) sent a Speed Post on 3rd February 2018 under ED651331317INv which was duly received by South City II Post Office well on time. When I contacted the Post Office on 16th February, they informed me that on tracking shows the status “delivered on 6th February”. When I informed them that I did not receive the letter, they sent the Deliveryman (Inder ) to my house. The delivery man first said that there was no letter for me. When I confronted him with the details, he said that he would check up again and will revert back to me. He did not call me at all. Then I contacted him on phone and asked him to show the waybill of the Speed Posts, he said he did not deliver the letter and did not know anything about it. He said he gets about 400 letters of Speed Posts etc. etc. on daily basis and as such he is overburdened with the work. He asked me to go and complain about it. Hence, this complaint against him to take disciplinary action under the official procedure. The South City II Post Office, by and large do not respond on landline.. They put the receiver off the hook. I tried to reach them telephonically at least 15 times, but failed. You are requested to take disciplinary action against the erring officials of the South City II Post Office.
We have sent a parcel from panvel to Bangalore on 08-11-2017,receipt number is EM905515373IN and the complaint number registered is 41020600621 – I have visited concerned post office thrice and no proper response received , they asked me to track the consignment – Though bangalore sorting office asking clarification on the parcel ICH Panvel or mumabi sorting office does not respond to the query in complaint section- Anyone can look into it ? The parcel has not been delivered so far
Sir my one year fixed deposits have since matured and when I went to Mubarak Mandi post office on 3-4-2017 to encash my fixed deposits they are not accepting my copies with the

On 10th of April, I send a parcel through the Indian Postal Service (Nalasopara 401203) to Syed Hamza Azmi, Gorakhpur, Pin – 273016 at 13:06 hours, consignment number- EM688312554IN. The details of the delivery can be rechecked with the help of the given consignment number. The tracking service provided the following data that the parcel has been delivered on 13 April, 2017 to the above mentioned address, but when enquired, the above mentioned person responded in negative regarding the delivery. Even after the enquiry, the reason is still not visible, also the chances of loss of the parcel cannot be avoided.
Unable to track my courier please let me know the status as soon as possible and when will it be dispatched to the destination

Terrible service, they took my money for airmail post on the 10th of Feb and my parcel is still in India and today is the 2nd of March.No one wants to assist you in anyway there and you just get a few phone numbers that do not exist then why should my money be used to pay the salary to these good for nothings!!!None of the phone numbers work, the complaint form for missing international parcels do not work, it keeps coming back with errors when everything has been filled properly.They deliberately ask you to call in the 2nd half and just pick the phone up and leave it on the table.Pathetic service! India Post is full of thieves.They stole my money, my goods!I would give you minus 100 stars if I could you bloody idiots!Each and every individual at every level is corrupt here.These idiots must be sacked.You love to take our money but you cannot lift a finger to do the job you are getting paid for your bunch of creeps!!

My parcel No EE747203274IN send wrong address. Full responce post office (Poo, HP). Because envelope address is right. But send address is wrong.

Dear Sir,
Sub: Unfair treatment to customers by your Benson Town Post Office Personnel
I today visited your Benson Town Post Office, Millerโs Road to pay my Bescom electricity bill. The bill amount was Rs 489. I asked the gentleman at the counter to consider Rs 490 as the bill amount to avoid change problem. I handed over 5 one hundred clean and sound notes. All he had to do was to return Rs 10 to me. He gave me a very dirty old Rs 10 note. When I asked him to give me a better note, he said he didโnt have one though his drawer was full of notes of various denominations. I was bwinf as reasonable as possible giving him clean notes and just expecting a return of a decent Rs 10. Even this could not be done by your Benson Town staff. This is not the first time I experienced such unfairness. I go through this month after month when I pay my bills. I always try to be as reasonable as possible by making their job as easy as possible but they always return good for evil. The lady (probably a muslim lady) who often sits at the counter also is unreasonably unfair. So today I had no option but to ask him to consider the entire Rs 500 as the bill payment amount as the note he tried to pass on to me was not tradeable. I want to express my displeasure at such treatment by your Benson Town employees.

I have been requested to transfer my PLI account from Assam Circle to WB circle in several time but no reply has been received so far. due to non transfer the same I am not able to deposit my premium from october-2014 to till date.
I sent a document via International Speed Post Tracking number ED 499883676IN on 04.10.2014.
I am trying to track the consignment on the Internet , through your website, but am getting NO details except that the consignment has been booked.
It is unfortunate that you are unable to get your website working properly — and India is considered a software giant !
Also when you click on ‘Lodge your complaint — it says Error 404 !!
Please get you act together – it give a terrible name to the country when we give the tracking number of the consignment to foreigners . They can neither track the consignment nor Lodge a complaint !!
I am also sending a copy of this email to Post Master general and the PM’s office.
