When it comes to Speed Post, it manages some 290 across the country. Speed Post links more than 1200 towns in India. There are some 73 countries covered under the International Speed Post. In Mumbai alone, India Post manages some 4,000,000 metro mails each day.
The various postal services include postcard, letter card, letter, parcel, insurance, money order, postal order and foreign mail. I have been trying to get hold of the speed post customer service but nobody has been answering. Is there even anybody working there? Who can I call or get hold of to help me? Very bad customer service.
I, M.Karnthi Kumar from Andhra Pradesh have forwarded a VPP parcel (of value Rs.4000/-) from Hanamkonda, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh on 31/Oct/2013 to Arya Nagar, Anand Vihar, Krishna Nagar, New Delhi-110092.
The Consignment no: is RN009230139IN. I waited patiently for more than a week. I was surprised to know that; though the parcel was not Delivered, the Tracking-status on 5/Nov/2013 showed that the parcel was Delivered. With a Frustrated mind; the Addressee went to Krishna Nagar Head office & met a postal-Representative by name “Mishra”. But he, my local post-master “Rajender” & other postal-department people over there; no one cared of my words. Every one was ignoring my consent. This is was extremely painful to me & made me more furious.
Some one said to me that the parcel has arrived to the Addressee’s place & but again returned back to the Head office – Krishna Nagar. How could this happen…The post master could atleast have called the Addressee’s phone number (Phone number too was mentioned on the parcel).
Please take immediate action & necessary measures that the parcel is safely delivered to the respective Addressee.

I am very unhappy and upset with your services as I have not received my consignment in Sharjah, UAE, from State Bank of India CONSIGNMENT No EA512498683IN through you nor there is any call or delivery attempt note from you. I dont know why the hell the service is so worst, none of the customer care numbers are connecting nor receiving… Our client was supposed to receive the post yesterday but still has not yet been delivered!
One of the main reasons which we observed from non delivery issues is, proper identification of data tracking management. When we studied and made softwares for those segments, automated methods of postal codes with route mapping and delivery
methods create more accurate services. The consignment can be tracked from the date of origin to delivery time with signature, time date, place, who received the item. Never misplace your items. Contact us!
Pathetic service. Never ever send anything via this Indian post. These people will never deliver anything. Even if you email, call or lodge a complaint, they will just update the status to delivered, But toss the article in the bin. Should make these people work without pay for rest of their lives.

I regret to inform you that I am disappointed with the customer service for India Post. My parcel that was sent from the UK on the 2nd of January has been stuck with India Post. I have been trying to reach customer care to track my order but either the number doesnt work or noone answers the call.
Is one suppose to go and collect a parcel under ”speed post” service from the post office or its a home delivery service? I got a message from velandipalaym, post office coimbatore to collect the parcel myself..
This is to inform you that i had sent a parcel containing some valuable things through your Post Office under speed post receipt no.A CI000223983IN on 17.12.2012. It is regret to note that so far the said packet has not reached to the addressee.
You are therefore requested to trace out the same and arrange to deliver the parcel at earliest to addressee. Please note that if the same is not received to the addressee in time, the department will be held responsible for all the losses what will occur in this regard. My 2 NSCs each 10000.00 (69EE 43832, 69EE 438326) have been transferred from Tollygunge, Kolkata PO. Vicoria park branch, Meerut (UP) has got the confirmation of non-payment also from Kolkata PO. Before encashment it were somehow lost. As per Post Master advice I have completed all the paper formalities. An inspection also done by GPO, Meerut. But still no information. 2 guarantors (one of these 2 persons is Post master of other PO). I do not know why it is still pending.
Original documents were dispatched through registered post on 05/07/2012.

My PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK cheque book was sent via speed post from the bank on 18th june 2012. It has not been received by me till now due to the negligience of the postman of sunder vihar, paschim vihar. The postman name is DILBAGH SINGH.. Neither is he giving the cheque book to me nor is he returning it to the post office or bank. I am suffering a lot in my business due to this.

I sent an envelope containing important documents from US to tirunelveli, tamilnadu on 22 June 2012 and I have been told that it will be delivered in 3 – 5 days. USPS have no clues where is my envelope is. Label no is EI400512411US. There is no information in EMS tracking website either. Can India postal dept update the present status? I am disappointed with our Indian postal services.
I am also having the same problem. Last 24th july 2012 I have sent a consignment contains of my original certificates to Abudhabi UAE from Trivandrum.After 10 days It reached USA, now it is in US costoms.But here I tried to contact indian postal authorities but nobody is ready to take my complaint and find the solution.
Around 5 orders I placed on online websites got “lost” by IndiaPost. Makes me wonder what they do with the consignment. Do they take the items and gift their wives or sisters back home?
One consignment has been pending since the last 5 months. I don’t know who to approach and who to complain to. No numbers work no one answers mails. The local post office doesn’t know what to tell me because obviously they are as lost as our government of India. Unfortunately I wasn’t even given a tracking number because the retailer (sender) decided to send it by regular post. Little do they know this country is full of scamsters and since they don’t face this kind of nonsense, they don’t know things can easily get ‘lost’, ‘misplaced’ here.
Now I know the reason so many people leave this country. Its better than dealing with the stress our government keeps giving us on various occasions.
Can someone please help me out!
i have sent a book post from jammu on 29th may and it has already been dispatched on same day. But till today it has not reached it’s destination at dehradun. Is there is as way to track from India post. Please help ..it’s appreciated…

My son posted two packages from Bristol in England over a month ago..one was registered and one was not but neither have arrived and I think someone has taken the MP3 player that was in one and CDs and books in the other. How do I find out? I have asked our local PO in Goa and they said just wait..I have a feeling I will be waiting a very long time!!
Same thing happened to me. EMS sent from India to USA on May 5th. It was in limbo until the 21st. Upon complaining to the PO in the USA who claimed it was lost and to contact the company who sent it to get a reship, I was told that there was a pilot’s strike which lasted for two weeks with Air India. Lo and behold, this afternoon after 11 days lost in customs, it finally cleared and should be here tomorrow! Been very frustrating, especialy since I was charged almost 60.00 USD for so called Express Mail!!! Hang in there and I do hope your packages arrive asap! I know how upsetting this is.

I posted a birthday gift to my friend on 9th July to Panaji, Goa and it was expensive. it was said it will be delivered within 7-10 working days, but still not delivered! Can you please tell me which of Goa did you post your parcel?
I am completely disappointed with India Post Online Tracking System. Whenever I attempt to track the status either 2:00pm in day or 3:am in morning, 5pm in evening most of the time the service is unavailable.
I think always these guys keep the server down for maintenance, and the web administrator will be solely responsible for this.

I have made a Register post AD on Dt. 05/05/2012 from Keshod Main Post office (pin-362 220) to Mumbai, with Transaction No. RG 084701739IN. Till date I have not received it’s acknowledgement sleep. I have many tried on find it’s Track on indianpost online web site, but nothing. So I want to know the status of my above mentioned RP AD, if it is reached to proper destination or not.

Due to poor performance of Indian Post, the material is not reaching at the destination on time. why don’t the postal department switch over to private guys because the customer service in Indian postal department is very poor.

I had sent a registered parcel on May 2nd/2012 from Dindigul ,Tamil Nadu to USA. But unable to track as it says data is unavailable. Postal staff say registered parcel cannot be tracked. But when I send these parcels as registered from Madurai it automatically comes in tracking system.
How would I understand whether the parcel has reached the destination? Is there some way to find out the status of the parcel ?please help

I sent a registered parcel on 16-04-2012 (Transaction No A2302) from
Vriddhachalam Head Post Office.
I lodged a complaint on 30-04-2012 for non receipt of the acknowledgement.
The complaint is simply closed on 02-05-2012 without delivering the letter
to the addressee.
I sent another registered letter on 30-04-2012 to same address
from Vriddhachalam Head Post Office ( Transaction No A7204 ).
I have not received the acknowledgement for this registered letter also.
These two articles should have been delivered before 04-05-2012,
if not delivered on or before 04-05-2012,
my pay grievance will not be redressed by the cell constituted for it.
Who is responsible for this irresponsible service of the postal department
and the loss incurred to me ?

My family had sent one important document by ordinary post. It was sent from tirunelveli {tamilnadu} to mumbai. I am still to get the package.
my parcel is dispatched from USA by DHL having tracking no.GM555113525301606129 on 6th of march 2012 and today is 7th of april 2012 that means more than a month has passed and Indian post office Lucknow branch is failing to give any information on this parcel while according to DHL it is delivered to Indian post office
Sick services… i sent a courier in seattle….. & it was sent to New york. Kept lying there until i inquired & was told they can not deliver it to my house in seattle. I should come to New york & collect it. Pathetic!!
