I must bring a disturbing issue regarding your automated system when prescriptions are ready for pick up. The latest problem (although not the only incident) concerns advising me that an RX was would be ready for pickup on Thursday (6/6) at Noon. This order was placed on Tuesday. On Friday (today) when I arrived at the CVS Pharmacy in Garnerville, I was told that a new RX was required from my physician. No call was placed to my physician nor was I advised that there was an issue. This is not the first time this has occurred. Each time there is a glitch I’m told that your computer system has a problem with email notifications, yet there is no problem advising when an RX is ready for pickup even when this item has not been ordered. Asking customers to return again for the same meds is unacceptable. If this situation continues I will be moving my scripts to another pharmacy.
I have been a customer of CVS Pharmacy before it became CVS Pharmacy back in the mid to late eighties when it was called Warehouse Drugs. The Pharmacist that worked there at the time where true professionals, treating every customer, no matter their income level, black, white, or Hispanic, with dignity and respect. I bragged them to everyone, and encouraged anybody needing a prescription filled to get it filled there. They treated people so nice, they really made every customer feel special. Then Warehouse Drugs became CVS Pharmacy. Nothing changed but the name. They maintained their courteous and respectful way of handling customers. Then CVS to a brand new building on the corner of New Circle Road and Limestone Street. They remained first class in every way I can think of. I have been a customer for 30 years, never going anywhere else. I realize that the professionalism was no longer politically correct. I gave a new tech a prescription, and he began to ask me all kinds of questions. Insulting the hell out of me. I politely told him as much, and he plainly stated to my face, “How do I know if this prescription is even real?” I have been going there for 30 years. That young man talked to me like I was a criminal. Just because I am black doesn’t mean I forge prescriptions. I grabbed it from him and left. Trump is ruining our country.
CVS store #6713 advertises it opens at 8:00, however that is not the case. This store repeatedly NEVER opens before 8:05-8:10. Store employees are always standing outside waiting for the manager to show up and unlock the doors. How is this even possible, especially from a MANAGER?!!
Sorry, I need to make a correction when I stated that “no others,” I mean “Others” in general, most employees in that pharmacy are kind, I simply want to stress that Danny works beyond expectations with customers.
Hi ,
I was in the CVS store on Eastern Avenue in Essex Md 21221 to fill a prescription for nose spray. I have been hounded by phone calls to refill the prescription, which is no doubt refillable but had no refills on it. I asked the store to remove my number so that I don’t get the calls “ever” but to no avail. ” I have MAIL Order refill with CIGNA which I use for any medications I take on a regular basis”. I use CVS when I am sick and need an antibiotic or when I am trying something new TO SEE IF IT HELPS OR I WANT TO CONTINUE. if I AM GOING TO CONTINUE I USE MY MAIL ORDER. I USE A CELL PHONE ONLY AND HAVE TO PAY FOR ALL THESE CALLS. Please put me on a do not call for refills list .
I was in your store #2804, phone (954) 575-7802 on August 4, 2014. Your staff member MR, A.Z. helped me a lot printing my photos from my smartphone. He deserves special thanks. Staff like him makes me go to CVS again and again.
