About Cubbon Park
Cubbon Park is a popular tourist attraction in Bengaluru, India. A large park that is located centrally, it is open from 5am to 6pm. The park was laid by Sir Mark Cubbon in 1864, hence named Cubbon Park. Spread across 250 acres, the park encompasses government buildings, a public library, high court and museum. Officially known as Sri. Chamarajendra Park, the park boasts of over over 96 botanical and native species. The park also has several sculptures and statues of popular personalities.
