Located in the southwestern region of Turkey, the Antalya Airport serves as a major gateway to the popular tourist resorts along the Mediterranean coast. Established in 1998, it is Turkey’s third-busiest airport with a passenger handling capacity of more than 18 million (as of 2016). In 2021, the airport experienced a whopping 125 per cent growth in passenger count, thereby making it one of the top 50 busiest airports in the world.

Currently, the Antalya Airport houses three terminals – two for international flights and one for domestic flights. The international terminals have been named Terminals 1 and 2, and are only three kilometres apart. And the good news is that they are linked by an airport bus service. Also, Terminal 1 is connected to the domestic terminal.

What are the Facilities at Airport

At the Antalya Airport, you get access to currency exchange services at the departures and arrivals areas of Terminals 1 and 2. Additionally, you can also find one inside the arrival hall of the domestic terminal, along with numerous ATMs present in all of the terminals. Travellers are also greeted by a wide selection of cafes, bars, and fast-food restaurants within the airport, thereby making the process of obtaining food easier.

Some of the other facilities at the Antalya Airport include shopping with duty-free options, a children’s playground (inside Terminal 2), baby-changing rooms, and a well-staffed medical service. The airport also houses a 24-hour medical centre for emergency and general health services.

Lost and found offices can be found both at the domestic and international terminals and can be reached by the following telephone numbers: +90 242 444 7423 ext. 3129 or +90 242 444 7423 ext. 4129. Passengers also have access to free luggage trolleys and a baggage-wrapping service at Terminal 1.

When it comes to communication facilities, you can find post offices within the departure areas of terminals 1 and 2. The terminals also house public telephones along with free WiFi access. In addition, escalators and lifts are provided for disabled passengers, along with a wheelchair transportation service between the terminals and the aeroplane. It should be known that travellers who need wheelchair services along with special assistance should inform their respective airlines before travelling.

What are the Available Parking Options

The Antalya Airport has three car parks located outside the terminals. They are referred to as P1, P2, and P3. As a result, there are more than 2,000 parking spaces, and since the parking lots are situated at a close distance from each other (a 3-minute walking distance from any of the three terminals), no shuttle service will be required for transportation. Also, the domestic terminal offers free parking for 15 minutes. Therefore, if you need to drop off or welcome your loved ones at the airport, you can do so seamlessly with such a facility.

It should be known that the airport parking spaces are always under surveillance by security cameras and staff. Therefore, it is recommended that you always park your vehicle in the designated parking spaces that are reserved for passengers. However, buses that were waiting to pick up passengers may park in the designated spaces created just for bus parking. Additionally, veterans (including first-degree relatives) and people with disabilities can benefit from free parking. All they have to do is show their relevant supporting documents, and they will be good to go. Also, first-degree relatives of martyrs will be welcomed with free parking at the airport, for up to a maximum of 15 days for each time of arrival.

General Parking Tips

Since the Antalya Airport does not support online reservation of parking spaces, vehicle parking is allowed on a first-come, first-served basis. However, you can learn about the cost of parking through the official online parking calculator provided by the airport authorities here.

To calculate your parking cost, all you have to do is select your terminal (based on whether you are flying domestically or internationally) and your vehicle type first. Once done, you have to select your entry date and time, along with the exit date and time as well. After that, the online system will provide you with an approximate parking cost that you have to bear.

For any help or queries, you can get in touch with the airport authorities at 444 7 423 (for domestic calls) or 0090 444 7423 (for international calls). You can also reach them by email at info@antalya-airport.aero.
