Know the Types of Tickets and Cost

The Unireso Day Pass comes in two formats, namely the usual โ€˜day passโ€™ and โ€˜day pass from 9 AMโ€™. The prices for usual day passes start at 10 CHF (Swiss Franc) for 2nd class and go up to 17 CHF for 1st class. However, young people aged between 6 and 15 years inclusive and half-fare season ticket holders can enjoy day passes at reduced prices of 7.30 CHF for 2nd class and 12.50 CHF for 1st class.

On the other hand, day passes from 9 AM start at 8 CHF for 2nd class and 13.60 CHF for 1st class, with the reduced prices being 5.60 CHF and 9.60 CHF, respectively. Also, remember that the reduced price of day passes also applies when you take bicycles or dogs (that cannot be placed in a basket) with you on your journey.

Keep in mind that the aforementioned day passes only cover zone 10, and if you want to go to other zones, then you must have a Leman Pass. And each day pass is valid until 5 AM of the following day of purchase or the start of pass validity.
