If you were to live like a royal prince or princess just for one day in Singapore, what would you do? Where will you head? Well, we have an excellent suggestion for you. Think Marina Bay Sands; it is the perfect destination for an exclusive outing.
Marina Bay Sands is a luxury hotel — an integrated resort, overlooking Marina Bay in Downtown Core in Singapore. It officially opened in 2010, and lists among the city’s most iconic and upscale addresses today.
When you are checking in as a guest, you have the luxury to choose your room from a host of them that guarantees either a breathtaking view of the mesmerizing cityscape or a refreshing view of the lush green spread around. Each room has its own USP and amenities. The Orchid Suite, the Deluxe King, the Deluxe Twin, the Family Studio, the Club King, the Grand Club King, and the Premier are the options to choose from. Guests choosing a room with a garden view can additionally enjoy the Garden Rhapsody at night — ‘a signature light and sound show of the Gardens by the Bay.’
Whoever said that fairy tales never happen for real? Wait until you get here. It feels surreal to have the butler at your beck and call once you have checked in. Irrespective of the room type, the surrounding views from the hotel room/balcony are awe-inspiring by the day and jaw-dropping by the night. The expansive skyline and the city that never sleeps but glitters and scintillates are truly the best eye shots to take at night before sleep.
Unlimited attractions await you at Marina Bay Sands — couture shopping at the Shoppes inside the Marina Bay Sands Mall, fine dining at high-end restaurants, a cool splash at the world’s highest and largest infinity pool, enjoying the beautiful cityscape from the dizzying heights of their Observation Deck, catching up with delightful theatrical and musical shows, enjoying leisurely boat rides, indulging in immersive digital experience, and so much more.
You will never spend a better and more peaceful night when you sleep witnessing a pretty, starry sky lapping a dazzling city after the day’s deeply gratifying activities. There’s not a single dull moment at Marina Bay Sands; you will never have the faintest idea how fast the clock ticks away here till it’s time to check out. A stay at Marina Bay Sands may be a lifetime experience, but totally worth your buck!
Highlights You Dont Want to Miss
The Infinity Pool — Imagine what it could be like to go for a quick dive and a good splash in a rooftop pool, 57 levels above ground! Amazing views from the poolside at the city below, lounging carelessly on the deck, letting your fingers go click-click non-stop, sun-bathing or relaxing under the shade of a palm tree are only a few of what the SkyPark Infinity Pool at Marina Bay Sands has to offer to all its guests. It is the world’s longest elevated pool.
It is divided into three sections — kids only, adults only, and a family-friendly section. It also has heated outdoor jacuzzis for that extra fun and relaxation in the sparkling waters. The pool is open exclusively for guests and does not allow entry of trespassers. It’s open between 6 am and 11 pm every day. Enjoy sundown moments and capture the glittering night sky while relaxing in the cool waters of the pool. Get up early for a refreshing swim in the morning hours when the pool is also relatively less crowded.
The Observation Deck — Soak in the panoramic vistas and take a bird’s eye view from the boat-shaped SkyPark Observation Deck at Marina Bay Sands. It is open between 11 am and 9 pm. Enjoy incredible views from the top and allow the fresh morning air to lap your face as you sip at your favorite drink and marvel at the lush greens beautifying the city below and as far as your eyes can reach. Indulge in an experience that is simply out-of-this-world, and is most liberating from a height of 57 levels above the ground.
Take a peek at the city’s most historic constructions in the vicinity — the Singapore Flyer, Clarke Quay, the Merlion Park, Sentosa, the Vivo City, the Bay Area, the Singapore River, and many more. Indulge in some memorable photo ops. The ticket prices differ for members and non-members, tourists and Singapore residents, and families. Please click on the Ticket Prices option after clicking on the link here to know the latest entry prices to the Deck . Please remember that ticket rates are subject to change too.
Restaurants — Be spoilt for choice for dining at the Marina Bay Sands. You name it, you find it. There is an entire range of dining options from casual, roof-top, quick bites, to fine dining inside Marina Bay Sands. Enjoy some quick sizzles, mouth-watering delicacies, lavish spreads, and gourmet meals curated by the world’s best-known chefs. Excellent interiors and the perfect ambiance sets the tone for an unforgettable romantic dinner date with your special one.
The Shoppes — Care for some retail therapy? The Shoppes at the Marina Bay Sands Mall is a haven for shopaholics who like to loosen their purse strings on enjoyable shopping sprees. A disclaimer though — be prepared to burn a few holes in your pocket as you embark on explosive shopping because most of these are branded, high-end, boutique outlets. For those who are fine with splurging in style, this is IT.
The Banyan Tree Fitness Club — If you are a fitness freak, love hitting the gym with a vengeance, and do not like taking breaks even on vacations, then you will love being inside The Banyan Tree Fitness Club. Enjoy the spectacular views of the city from the training area as you sweat it out! The gym is well stocked with cross-trainers, treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights, pulley walls, and more. After a frenetic workout session, try their hot pool and sauna bath to soothe your tired muscles and for a relaxing, therapeutic, and ultimate experience.
ArtScience Museum — Indulge in some cutting-edge virtual reality artworks at their VR Gallery and celebrate innovation at its best. Discover the world of art, science, and magic through a collection of digital interactive installations. The Museum is a space for everyone – the young and the adults of all age brackets. The Museum is packed with a wide range of exhibitions, events, and activities around the year. Don’t forget to check out the ArtScience Cinema section. It is open between 10 am and 7 pm every day.
