It’s a magical place that transforms your experience and fills you with sensational delight. The dancing lights illuminating the trees and trance-like soothing musical scores playing in the background are captivating. The Water Vortex — Located at the heart of the Jewel, the Rain Vortex is a marvelous architecture and visual treat. It is the tallest indoor waterfall standing at 40 meters and descending 7 stories. It is connected to Terminal 1, and there are link bridges connecting it to Terminals 2 and 3 inside the airport. It is a dome structure that is supported by a network of pipes and structural features to facilitate the distribution of water through the oculus, giving a circular effect. The water is harvested from rain and is recycled to prevent wastage in a bid to conserve energy.

It is refreshing to stand near the vortex and enjoy some splash on a typical hot and humid day in Singapore. This architectural wonder is totally free of charge.
