I recently purchased a HP printer. It came with an offer to help connect my Chromebook to the printer. I connected with HP and spoke to a nice young lady , Linda. She took my phone # and said a tech would call in 2 minutes to walk me through the connection. A young man did return my call. He took all my info and said that my Chromebook was not at all compatible. I needed to purchase a program for a one time fee of $199. He would gladly take my credit card and set this up. Guaranteed to work. I was disappointed and said no thanks.
I am not a techie person and believed this fellow. My daughter drop by for a visit and I told her my situation. She took my Chromebook and within 5 minutes had my new printer connected. I was really thinking about purchasing the automatic ink ordering but do not feel safe sharing my credit card # after this prior experience. Love my printer but disappointed with almost being scammed.
HP has the worst customer service by far compared to other brands like Apple, or even Asus.
Bought a new Envy laptop 4 months ago and one day it decided not to turn on just like that. Called service center and they could not help me over the phone, so had to ship it to the center to get it fixed and that was about 2 weeks ago. Believe it or not but I have not received a single update on my laptop since then and when I call they have nothing to say but that they lack parts due to COVID-19 and the part seems to be the motherboard. Thanks to COVID-19 HP has now a very good excuse.
I asked them twice that I want a replacement laptop and still no response from HP.
Very disappointed in HP. Never buy another product from HP again in my life.
I recently purchased a HP laptop. The laptop arrived on May 18th. Within a few hours of receiving the laptop I realized that the HP Sureview screen had poor view angles even with the privacy screen turned off. This issue is well documented on your customer forums and is a widely reported problem with the LED panel. I proceeded to customer support to request a return. I have made 4 separate attempts to contact customer service. Each time I have been assured that an RMA will be issues within 2 business days. It is now >2 weeks and still no RMA has been issued. This laptop was charged to my credit card and I am paying interest while waiting for HP to issue the RMA. I have been told the problem is with the “back office”.
This problem with the back office has left me not feeling confident that HP Canada has sufficient resources to manage online purchases. I really doubt I will ever order from the HP website again.
I would hope that you can look into the issue and fix for future customers.
I won’t mince words, your customer service is deplorable. After talking to who knows how many countries and being re routed several times it comes down to the point that if I’m not willing to buy extra warranty it’s pay or don’t play. I don’t know what’s worst, dealing with Microsoft, Windows 10, HP or a combination of the three. I reluctantly submit to giving up to the powers to be. I will not be donating to HP’s recorded revenue of $126 billion. Wake up out there consumers!!
I have been having a near nervous break down trying to get my new printer to work. I followed all the instructions and have tried over ten times. I uninstall everything and start over. Nothing seems to work. Why do you make your process so difficult. Yes, I have a registered Windows program and yes my HP Printer is new.–So far a waste of over $100.00. A printer is no good when it wont work after it is installed.
I have tried to get my printer to print from my computer and for 1/2 an hour had a service tech point out that the drivers need to be updated and also need to pay $100 USD for them to do it for me. I did not like what they were saying so I hung up. Lo and behold shortly after I hung up someone wrote “F off” in red capital letters. I want to know if justice will be served or forever boycott HP products for life.
Please i need to know if there are authorised technicians within calgary i can send my spectre 6 to for fixing. The number keys on the keypad are not working.
I purchased a hp envy 5500 printer in december 2017 and i had problems and i visited your 123.hp.comsuppourt and was redirected to a site automatically which pretended to be hp tech support and they got into my computer and told me that I had a lot of virus and that I need to buy 4 100 iTunes cards and they requested the numbers in the back then I realized that your site was hacked and I know that you are working on that. However I am still out 400 dollars on a 50 dollar printer. The quality off the printing is ok, however I am still having problems with the printer. please get back to me as soon as possible, other wise you leave me no choice but to go to the media and let them know what is going on. Ive spoken to a lot of people and they are ignorant to this problem. I want anyone that has experienced this problem about losing money to get back to me and we will set ups lawl suit and make HP reimburse us for our hassle, stress, and their neglect of protecting their website. YOU guys owe us LARGE when it comes to the pubic knowledge. Get back to me YESTERDAY, time is money and Ive already wasted a lot of my life which I will not get back. Its gonna cost you a lot.
I returned my hp Spectre on February 16 2018. Today we are March 29th 2018. I did not receive my refund yet. I called already 3 times. They say someone will send me an email. But till now I have not received anything.
Today I’m calling them back. Hope this problem will be solved because it’s frustrating. We have to run after them for our money.
Would like to know what options there are to upgrade to the largest drive an HP Stream mini desktop, model 200-009 can support. Having issues with Microsoft win10 updates. I own two units that are working very well except for fact, running out of disk space. Please point me in direction of a solution. Thanks & please reply.
I bought an HP W8X36UA#ABL for my son from our local BestBuy. From day one sometimes, the screen totally turned black. Complained for many times to BestBuy, but they did not see any problems. 1 year and 4 day (1-year warranty) my laptop screen turned blank for no reason forever. I took it to BestBuy and the technician powered my laptop on, saw the problem, turned it off, reset the memory and the problem was not solved. He told me that it was motherboard failure. I REFUSED to believe that my computer could not be fixed because it was 1 year old, I did not drop it, nor did I have any error messages…
What a terrible, helpless, frustrating experience? How can you help? Confirm please
I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978, SN TH682361X6, that will not print black ink. I downloaded HP’s Print & Scan Dr. 5.0 and all it told me was that my HP 902 XL print cartridge was 3/4 full. I cleaned the heads three times, printed a test page three times and basically wasted colour ink, paper and hydro.
The HP site tells me I have until November 2017 on warranty. That, however, is useless to me because there is no way to contact anyone. The “Support” webpage is a loop that continuously goes round and round. At least a Merry-go-round is fun.
I find customer service from HP horrendous! I purchased a computer in December and first of all, there were many problems with the order purchase and delivery. Then when it did come the laptop is noisy and always making a crackling sound. I received no help with this and now I am having problems with the computer opening attachments from emails and I can find no one to call for support. I have always bought HP products but now I feel frustrated that they only want my money and have no interest in helping me. I am thinking of returning my computer and never dealing with HP again.
Hi, I won an HP printer model officejet 4620 in a fundraiser auction. It came with all except the CD with the printer driver. Since last night I am desperately trying to download this driver from your website but it has taken hrs and it is still not done downloading. It is extremely frustrating trying to find an actual HP contact and when I finally found one, no one even bothers to answer instead it is always busy and the call gets disconnected after 2 busy signals. Did HP go out of business?
I purchased my HP Pavilion G6 two and a half years ago. Much to my dismay, I was required to change the fan as I kept receiving a Bios error that there was something wrong with the fan and that the increase in temperature would require a forced shut down. I had the issue repaired by having the fan replaced, as suggested by HP customer support.
I began experiencing the same issue with forced shutdown 5 months ago. Again, took it to get repaired and was told that the fan was not the issue as it was working fine. The issue was with the Bios error which kept shutting the computer down. After much research into fixing the issue and also checking with HP websites, customer supports, blogs, etc., I came to understand that this particular Laptop model was faulty and that hundreds of other people had the exact same problem
Though HP knows that this is a particular problem with the Pavilion G6, you have offered no way to fix this problem, leaving me without a computer which I require for school and work. I want to know when HP will sort out this issue and if they cannot fix the problem, will they be offering a rebate..
Thank you.
