Nordstrom is a luxury department store chain based in the United States. Founded in 1901 by Carl F. Wallin and John W. Nordstrom, the company is headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Back in the day, the company operated as Wallin & Nordstrom, exclusively as a shoe store. However, in 1963, the company started selling clothing items, and thereby, in 1971, Wallin & Nordstrom was renamed to simply Nordstrom.

In 2014, Nordstrom expanded their business into Canada, opening its first store at the Chinook Center in Calgary. Additional stores were also opened in Ottawa, Toronto, and British Columbia over the next couple of years. The company’s international expansion continued when a full-line store was opened at The Mall of San Juan in Puerto Rico.

Some of the major product categories that you can find on Nordstromโ€™s online portal are womenโ€™s apparel, womenโ€™s accessories, shoes, menโ€™s apparel, beauty, and kidsโ€™ apparel. Additionally, the supported payment methods include credit cards from major vendors such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, and Discover. You can also use Nordstrom-branded credit cards as well as gift cards.

What is the Order Cancellation Policy

Nordstrom allows you to cancel your order for a short period after you have placed it, especially when it is still in the processing stage. When the cancellation window expires, you will not be able to cancel your order. Instead, you have to return your delivered goods either by mail or in-store.

Refunds are generally credited to the payment source that was used for placing the order. However, if no record of sale is available (especially for gifts), then personal identification will be asked for and the refund will be provided in the form of a Nordstrom Gift Card.

Refunds are usually issued within 3-5 business days, based on your financial institution, especially when orders are cancelled online or returns are made through stores. However, if you are returning an item via mail, then expect your item to reach Nordstromโ€™s warehouse within 10-14 business days, and then a refund will be issued.
