What are the Types of Tickets and Cost

Contrary to popular belief, the Tell-Pass is an easy-to-use pass, and its pricing structure further reflects its simplicity.

There are currently two types of Tell-Pass, namely Summer Tell-Pass and Winter Tell-Pass. The summer season starts from the 1st of April every year until the 31st of October, while the winter edition starts on the 1st of November and lasts until the 31st of March.

The Summer Season Tell-Pass starts at 190 CHF, or Swiss Franc, for 2 days of unlimited travel and goes up to 340 CHF for 10 days. On the other hand, the Winter Season Tell-Pass starts at 120 CHF for 2 days of unlimited travel and goes up to 260 CHF for 10 days. All the aforementioned prices are for adult tickets.

For children aged between 6 and 16 years, the price per ticket is 30 CHF, whether the stay is 2 days or up to 10 days. However, tickets for kids are only valid when bought together with an adult Tell-Pass. Alternatively, Tell-Pass users who are looking to bring their furry pets with them can purchase a separate ticket for just 30 CHF.

Additionally, it should be known that none of the aforementioned ticket prices are valid for groups, schools, or clubs, and the Tell-Pass is personal and non-transferable. To learn more about the Tell-Pass route network, click here.
