As a member, you will also receive special invitations to onboard events, personalized services, and dedicated assistance from a Costa Club specialist.
You can accumulate points and move up the membership tiers faster by not only earning points from cruises but also from purchasing onboard amenities and services, as well as through affiliated partnerships, such as car rental agencies, hotels, and airlines.

Eligibility Requirements for Membership
First things first, to become a member of the Costa Club, you need to complete at least one cruise with Costa Cruises and need to be at least 18 years of age and above. After your first cruise, you will automatically be enrolled in the Costa Club at the starting tier. From there, you can continue to earn points and move to higher levels of membership.
There are no specific location requirements to become a member of the Costa Club. As long as you have completed at least one cruise with Costa Cruises, regardless of where you are in the world, you are eligible to become a member. However, it is important to note that certain benefits and perks of the Costa Club may only be available to members who reside in certain countries and regions. It is best to check with Costa Cruises directly for specific information about membership requirements and benefits in your area.
Steps to Apply for Membership
- Visit the Costa Cruises website and click on the Costa Club link.
- Click on the ‘Join Now’ button to start the registration process.
- Fill out the registration form with your personal information, including your name, postal address, email address, country of residence, birth date, and phone number.
- Choose your preferred communication language and select your marketing preferences.
- Create a password and agree to the terms and conditions of the Costa Club program.
- Once you have completed the registration form, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
- You will receive an email with a confirmation link to activate your Costa Club membership. Click on the link to confirm your membership and start earning points towards rewards.
Joining the program is free. You can also join the program by calling the Contact Center at 1-800-462-6782 or 1-888-812-6782, or through a travel agent. Make sure to read the general conditions before signing up for the program.
Please note that whichever method you select to register for membership, confirmation of registration with the Costa Club is processed within 7 days. However, if the membership request is made on board by completing the application form, it will be processed within 30 days after the end of the cruise. Again, if the membership request is made 7 days or less before the departure of the cruise, the guest will not be recognized on board as a Costa Club member, receive the Costa Club card, or be entitled to the privileges and benefits of the Costa Club membership until their next cruise.

Ambra: This is the entry-level tier for the Costa Club membership program. Members in this tier receive the following benefits — a 5% discount on all cruises booked directly with Costa Cruises; welcome drink at the beginning of each cruise; a Costa Club magazine subscription; and a dedicated Costa Club helpline.
Acquamarina: Members who have sailed with Costa Cruises for at least 2,000 points (1 point is earned for each day spent on board) will be upgraded to the Acquamarina tier. In addition to the benefits of the Ambra tier, Acquamarina members also receive — a 5% discount on all onboard purchases; a free bottle of water in the cabin every day; priority boarding at embarkation; and a complimentary meal at a specialty restaurant on board.
Corallo: Members who have sailed with Costa Cruises for at least 5,000 points will be upgraded to the Corallo tier. In addition to the benefits of the Ambra and Acquamarina tiers, Corallo members also receive — a 10% discount on all cruises booked directly with Costa Cruises; a 10% discount on all onboard purchases; complimentary fruit basket in the cabin every day; priority disembarkation at ports of call; and a complimentary photo of the member and their cabin mate.
Perla: Members who have sailed with Costa Cruises for at least 13,000 points will be upgraded to the Perla tier. In addition to the benefits of the Ambra, Acquamarina, and Corallo tiers, Perla members also receive — a 20% discount on all cruises booked directly with Costa Cruises; 20% discount on all onboard purchases; complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in the cabin upon arrival; priority boarding and disembarkation at ports of call; complimentary dinner for two at a specialty restaurant on board; and complimentary access to the spa’s thermal area.
Perla Diamante: Members who have sailed with Costa Cruises for at least 26,000 points will be upgraded to the Diamante tier. In addition to the benefits of the Ambra, Acquamarina, Corallo, and Perla tiers, Diamante members also receive — a 30% discount on all cruises booked directly with Costa Cruises; 30% discount on all onboard purchases; complimentary bottle of Champagne in the cabin upon arrival; complimentary shore excursion at one port of call; complimentary dinner for two at a specialty restaurant on board; complimentary access to the spa’s thermal area on all days; dedicated Diamante check-in area at embarkation; a complimentary meal with the captain; and a dedicated Costa Club concierge service.
